"Merida?" I asked
I could hear her sobbing on the other side of the door.
"Merida... I know your in their." I said softly.

She groaned and opened the door.  Her eyes were blood shot and her hair was messy, possibly due to taking it out in anger.
"Merida..." I said as she sobbed again.

I closed the door and she fell to her knees crying. I instinctively wrapped my arms around her and she sobbed into my chest.  I picked her up and we sat on her bed.
"Hiccup...I'm sorry... This... I'm taking away your freedom..." She said quietly.

I brushed some hair out of her face. She looked up at me.
"No. Your not. I don't think I've ever felt this free." I whispered.

She smiled and hugged me. I heard the door close and I turned. We looked out the window to see a light sky blue fabric turn the corner.
"Was that?" Merida started.
"Oh Thor!" I said bringing my hands down on the door.
"It was Astird... wasn't it?" She asked sitting down next to me.
"Yeah..."
"Hiccup. I know you like her. The deal is still applied. Even though the wedding has been moved forward." She said placing a hand on my shoulder.

I smiled and we helped each other up. She opened the door
"Tag. Your it!" She said running off.

I smirked and ran after her.

(Astrid's POV)
I was sitting back at the table with the satchle. I was tempted to pull out the dragon eye and examin it, but the others would tell Hiccup. He came running down the stairs after Merida.  Laughing.

I clenched my teeth. Heather seemed to notice and put a hand in my shoulder. I smiled at her.
"Gotcha ya!" Hiccup said forcing Merida into a seat.

She laughed as did he. I looked away. He sat in the seat in between me and her.
"Astrid! Who was waiting on you?" He said noticing me after about...um I dont know, an hour?!?
"Um...somebody named... Trader Johan. He told me where something important is." I said.

He arched a brow
"Like what?" He asked.
I opened the satchle and pulled out a sketch of he dragon eye.
"This. I think it's called...the dragon eye?" I said, pretending I didn't know what it was.

His eyes widened as he grabbed the sketch.
"Where is it?!?" The gang asked.
"Some deserted island called... Outcast island? About five days from here." I said.
"We leave tommrow." Hiccup said.
"Um...Hiccup? Isn't the wedding the day after?" Merida asked.
"Oh Thor... I'll tell your mom what's going on." He said walking over to Elenore.

"Wait, Johan dosent know we're here. Well, from what I know." Snotlout said

I gulped.
Uh oh.
Everyone looked at me.
"Don't look at me! I don't know!" I said.

Hiccup came back.
"Ok. The wedding has been pushed back a week. Your mom's going on a trip anyway. As in, your coming with us." Hiccup said looking at Merida.

"Alright everyone! Off to bed with all of us! We have a busy day for everyone...in some way shape or form." Elenore said

"Hiccup. You coming?" Merida asked.
"Yeah. Give me a second" I heard him say.

But it was distant. Why? I was outside.
(Hiccup's POV)
I turned to Astrid. But she wasn't there. I saw the door open. I ran outside and went to the stables. Sure enough, Astrid was there, petting Stormfly.
"I know girl... I want to remember you to..." She said softly.
"Astrid? What are you doing out here?" I asked.

She turned, and gasped.
"Hiccup?!? What are you doing out here?" She asked.
"Looking for you."
"Shouldn't you be with princess Merida? Princess Perfect?" She asked.
"What? Merida's not perfect. No one is. Astrid. What's wrong?"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"What?"
"That you were engaged! To a princess no less!"
"I...I don't think it was important. A-and I your condition, it would be to much for you to take in."
"Yeah? Well, it's important to me." She snapped.
"Huh? Why?"

She blushed.
"N-never mind..."
"Astrid... do you...l-like me?" I asked nervously
"N-no...and even if I did, it wouldn't matter! Your engaged. And I have a gut feeling that your the cause if my memory loss." She said.

I blinked. I felt Toothless behind me.
"A-astrid..."
"Save it Hiccup. I'm tired...I'm going to bed."
"Astrid. What's that?" I asked pointing to her satchle.
"Nothing. Nothing important."
"Is something shiny on there? It looks gold."
"Hiccup.back.off." she said brandishing her axe.
"Wow! I thought you lost your memory!"
"I did. But I have a pretty good guy feeling on how to use this axe." She said twirling it.
"H-how?"
"It's called instinct. Good night Stormfly." She said walking past me.

I watched her go.
"Oh Thor!" I said punching a poll.
