"Good Morning everyone!" I said walking inside.
"Hi Dad!" My kids called back from the table.Merida was in the kitchen.
"Hi Hiccup. How are you?"
"I'm good. You?"
"Never better." She said smiling.Kids young version to older version:
"Hey dad?" Brianna asked.
"Yes Brianna?" I asked sitting down with Merida.
"Do you and Mom love each other?"I set down my drink and look at Merida who looked just as shocked as me.
"Um...of course we do. Why?" I asked.
"You guys...you guys dont say I love you. Or kiss."
"Well, alot of people do that."
"No. Only you mom and Astrid and Snoutlout." Matilda said cutting f her food, not bothering to look up.
"W-well...uh... Heather and Fishlegs?"
"They say it every day." Bridget said
"Ruff and Eret?"
"Once a week." Edrei said
"Um...Tuff and Chicken?" Merida suggested.We stared at her. We all started laughing.
"Ok! B-bad e-example." Merida said trying to catch her breath.Toothless sat up and ran out the door.
"Toothless?!?" I asked running after himEveryone followed.
Snoutlout ran out of his house with his kids. Toothless was jumping around excitedly.A natter landed and a hooded girl hopped off.
"Mom!" Alva said running towards the girl.Astrid put down her hood and hugged her girls. She pet Toothless and hugged Snoutlout.
Merida and I ran for her as the village ran out to come see Astrid.
Merida and Heather crushed her in a hug as she laughed.
I hugged her.
"Hey Ash."
"Hi Hiccup." She whipered back.We pulled away and smiled. Ruff hugged her.
"Whatd you find?" Snoutlout asked her.Her lips twisted, like they do when she's upset.
"Uh oh." I said with Heather and Snoutlout
"Um... Merida, take the girls and Alva and her sisters to the great Hall." I saidShe nodded and walked off.
"Let's go to the cove." Heater said.We nodded and took off.
When we landed Astrid hopped off and turned to us. She looked at Heather.
"I found them."
