Episode 11 - Hallucinations

A/N: Hey Guys! Sorry I haven't updated in AGES! but I will be updating now regularly!

Bruce Wayne had fallen to many things in his life, each one he had to overcome, but as time moved forward, Bruce grew stronger. When Vicki Vale had broken up with Bruce a few days ago, he had felt like his world had shattered, and shattered it had. Bruce saw Vicki everyday at Gotham High, they both waved at each other before heading into opposite directions, Bruce admitted that it seemed awkward, but as long as he got a small dose of Vicki, he didn't care.

Bruce's friends, Barbara Gordon and Harvey Dent had tried to console and comfort him ever since the breakup, but Bruce was having none of it. Bruce's extra curricular activities as Batman had even been sloppy, he had broken six batarangs in the last week as well as tearing his favourite hoodie. But Alfred had helped him get back his determination and motivation, there was just one problem. His parents.

Bruce had come to accept the fact that his parents were dead a long time ago. Martha and Thomas Wayne had been brutally murdered in what the Gotham residents called 'Crime Alley'. Bruce remembered being rescued and comforted by Alfred who had been like a surrogate father ever since Martha and Thomas's deaths.

Jim Gordon had spent his whole day at the Gotham City Police Department, or the GCPD as many of its officers like Renée Montoya and Harvey Bullock referred to it as. Jim was the Commissioner of Gotham and didn't have many friends, he was a target to all of the Arkham inmates who he had mostly put away, until the Gotham vigilante, Batman showed up. Jim's wife, Barbara Kean Gordon was always away on business trips, she never spared time for Jim or their daughter, Barbara Gordon Jr. That's why Barbara was so close to Jim and not her mother.

Renée and Harvey had been dealing with a break in, in the Gotham Jewellers, whilst Jim and Captain Sarah Essen had been filing paperwork in the GCPD. "Gordon! Have you got down the Matt Hagen and Batman case?" Essen asked, printing off more copies of Bane's showdown with the Caped Crusader.

"Yes ma'am" Gordon responded. Essen smiled, she had been attracted to Gordon ever since he joined the GCPD, back when he was a detective, he then took over for Commissioner Gillian Loeb, who had passed away recently. "Have you still not figured out who the Bat is?" Sarah queried. Jim shook his head.

"He remains unidentified. The Mayor and I spoke about what to do concerning the vigilante situation but all he said was that it would be a waste to arrest him, considering the amount of crime he's stopped. And then we both came up with the conclusion that we wouldn't be able to capture him anyway!" Gordon explained.

Sarah chuckled at this comment. Essen knew that Jim was married, and her boss! But she couldn't help but think that Jim was wasting his time with Barbara Sr. The only problem was Jim's daughter, Barbara.

Jay Napier, Harley Quinn and Waylon Jones had recruited Eddie Nygma into their gang of crazies. Eddie had stopped hanging around with Oswald and Victor and decided to embrace his inner maniac by joining Jay's group. Oswald, being the leader of his club, the Iceberg Lounge had permanently banned Eddie from entering the Lounge in outrage. Victor, Bruce and partially Barbara were also in strong agreement. Oswald knew that Jay only wanted Eddie as their intellectual guinea pig, that was the reason they had recruited Barbara as well! Except Barbara knew this, whereas Eddie was oblivious.

Oswald Cobblepot, Victor Fries, Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent had all joined together in the Iceberg Lounge where Oswald and Victor ranted about Eddie leaving them. "I just can't believe he would do this to us!" Oswald moaned, throwing things around the club.

"Ozzie calm down! He'll soon realise that they were using him when they blame him for something they did!" Harvey said, reassuring Oswald. Victor rolled his eyes and continued with his pencil drawings of his crush, Nora.

Whilst Harvey and Oswald kept debating, Bruce left the Iceberg Club unnoticed. Bruce made his way past a handful of students where he noticed Jay Napier, Harley Quinn, Waylon Jones and Eddie.

"Well if it isn't Gotham's favourite billionaire!" Jay said, smirking whilst Harley lit him a cigarette. Teachers used to exclude Jay for his smoking on school premises but found that they achieved nor accomplished anything. Bruce rolled his eyes before making his way down a corridor before being stopped by Waylon. Bruce turned to face Eddie.

"Why are you with these people Eddie?" Bruce asked, confused by his actions.

"They like me Bruce, and they make me feel like a somebody rather than a nobody, I'm sorry that Ozzie and the others disagree with my decision but I've made my choice" Edward responded. Jay smirked, as did Harley.

"You heard him Wayne! He doesn't care what people like Cobblepot or you think! He's got us!" Jay said. Harley and Waylon nodded in agreement.

"Fine, you can hang around with these loons. But when they drag you down to Arkham, don't come crying to us, because they are not worth it Eddie!" Bruce said. Jay growled in response before pouncing on to Bruce and repeatedly punching him. Everyone in the school watched as Jay continued hitting Bruce in the stomach and face. "You get him puddin' nobody annoys my Mr. J!" Harley said, Pamela who was lurking in the distance rolled her eyes.

Vicki Vale who was strolling down the corridor noticed Jay fighting Bruce and came to his aid as did Selina Kyle. "Move out the way princess! Your not cut out for violence!" Selina said, shoving past Vicki and throwing Jay off of Bruce.

"You bitch!" Jay said as he rose to his feet.

"Bruce are you ok?" Vicki asked, rushing to a bleeding Bruce.

"Yeah I'm fine! Shouldn't you be going?" Bruce said in response. Vicki didn't know what to say, so instead she just left.

"Thanks Selina" Bruce said before heading off. Selina skipped away before Jay could continue his argument with her.

Captain Sarah Essen and Commissioner Jim Gordon had finished discussing work and Gotham for the last hour and had moved on to personal things and relationships. "I don't see though how you can be in a committed married relationship with someone who isn't even here?" Essen said, stating her views on marriage. Gordon ate a forkful of Chinese before responding. "Maybe if you were in a relationship Sarah you would understand" Jim replied.

Sarah smirked. "But can you honestly tell me your happy with her Jim?" Essen said, edging closer to the Commissioner. "Look me in the eye and tell me that you don't even sometimes consider leaving her and starting a new life with someone you can be happy with, don't you ever?" Sarah said, this time Jim had leaned in closer too, and before each of them realised, the pair had began kissing each other. Sarah ripped Jim's shirt and tie off and resumed kissing him. Jim moved onto Sarah's shirt and then bra. Before each of the, realises it they were both fully naked and making love. (Ewww!).

"Yes Sir" Principal Hugo Strange said, speaking to an unknown voice on his telephone.

"I want the identity of the Batman revealed! He may be a thorn in our side for the future plans we have for Gotham City, I want him exposed!" The voice said.
