I closed my eyes, a euphoric feeling flooded over me, as I crushed someone's skull with my sand. "Can we head to the tower now?" Kankuro whined. "I'm bored." I scowled, my sand tossing the limp body to the ground.

"Must you always ruin my fun?" I growled at him.
Gaara sighed.

"Oni, as much as I hate to agree with anything that idiot says, you've killed twenty people the forty-five minutes we've been here. Maybe you should make sure they still have contestants for the final round." I nodded, unable to argue with Gaara's reasoning.

"Okay, can I just go do something?" Temari asked, kind of embarrassed.

"You have ten minutes." I responded, bored.

"Thanks!" She said as she dashed away into the woods.

"What the hell was that about?" Kankuro asked. "I mean really, she was acting so odd-"

"Oh shut up!" I yelled.

Temari's POV

I dashed off quickly, wanting to make the best of ten minutes. I skidded to a halt when I sensed the familiar chakra. I looked down into a clearing. I could see that cute Nara kid, and he was fighting with his team, the blonde bimbo and the fatass. They were defending the weak pink haired girl. Suddenly, I could see a kunai heading straight to Nara's skull. Without thinking, I used my fan to blow away the kunai. He glanced up at me startled. I dissapeared, and reappeard a tree over, away from his sight.

I headed back to the group. I knew that Oni would be pissed that I had saved another person, but I really wanted to see that Nara kid.

"Where were you?" Oni asked as soon as I got back. I started sweating as she looked right through me with suspicious eyes.

"Oh, ah... I had to go to the bathroom!" I said, keeping my voice steady. Everyone seemed content with the answer, but Oni still looked at me, like she knew I was hiding something.

Oni's POV

I knew she was hiding something. But I decided not to do anything because, as much as I hate to admit it, she's a fairly valuable member of our team. It was probably some ridiculous girly thing like a crush. I just hope she's prepared to kill him. We entered the tower, to my dismay, because it meant that I couldn't kill anyone anymore. We opened our scrolls, and a very surprised chunin appeared in a puff of smoke.

"Oh, um we have some finishers... Well, congratulations! If you could just ah... continue on and wait for further instructions..." I scoffed. Unprofessional. We continued on, and as we entered the comfortable waiting area, I noticed a security camera blinking in the corner. I stared directly at it and smirked.

~

About five hours later, another team entered the tower. It was a boy in a trenchcoat covering the lower half of his face, as well as sunglasses. Following him was a timid looking girl with indigo hair. I smiled a bit, because I could tell that inside of the cowering exterioir, there was a true shinobi. After was a kid wearing a parka with red triangles on either side of his face. A small white and brown dog was perched atop his shoulder. As soon as he saw me, his entire face went pale. I smirked. This was going to be fun.
