As the cherry blossoms had finally bloomed, it was once again time for Brooke, the elemental nine tails to wake up again. She had been sleeping for about 2 months, waiting for the trees to bloom, from the works of Amaterasu. Without them, she wouldn't have enough energy to protect the village of Kamiki, after Amaterasu had left her to take care of the village so Ammy and Issun could keep the entire land in balance with the monsters still roaming Nippon.

As Brooke yawned she said softly,"What a beautiful new day, without any monsters to cause trouble while I take a short walk around town.." As she got up and walked around past Kushi's and Susano's houses, past the rice field, she walked over to the shade of a small tree around the turnip garden.
"Ahhh.." she sighed and slowly lowered her head onto her cream colored paws.

There was a small rustle in the fields a little past the village that she heard with her far hearing, and suddenly and slowly got up with her claws starting to appear from her paws.
"What was that.." she said quietly, as she swiftly ran off to the Shinsu Fields worried, a long trail of blooming flowers behind her. "I've got to find that thing I hear earlier," she said jumping across the river over to the pottery huts.
Suddenly she heard another rustle near the one of the many large Great Cherry Blossom Trees and quickly made a great jump with maple leaves following her, over to the tree. She started sniffing around the small stream flowing around the Cherry Blossom and picked up a scent that nearly smelled like a fox.

She stood up and put her front paws on the trunk of the tree staring into the beautiful pink leaves and flowers, trying to find the object that made the sound and scent. As soon as she uses her wind brush technique, she rustled wind through the tree and heard a scratch and suddenly discovered what the noise was..
