Chapter 19

Louis' POV

I wake up in a bed this time. My eyes not adjusting to the bright light when I open them.

"Lou?" El's voice i heard. I feel a hand on mine. I open my eyes again, slowly.

"What happened?" I say noticing the hospital room I was in.

"I'm not sure Lou, I heard you screaming and then I walked in the room and you where stabbing yourself with a needle," she says uneasily. "I had to get you to stop, what were you thinking?" she said

"I don't know. I'm sorry," my voice was horse and scratchy.

I remember everything, Ember's image in-front of me, feeling like I was being pinched. And I guess I just wanted it all to go away.

"When can I get out of here?" I'm tired; probably the most tired I've ever been.

"Not today, is for sure. They said they wanted to do some tests to make sure your stable." she explained

"Stable? Like mentally? El I'm fine. I just want to go home."

"I know your fine. But Lou last night was crazy, you where totally off."

"I know- every-thing's just been shit lately and-"

There's a knock on the door, interrupting my voice. El opens the door to Liam and -surprisingly- Harry. She looks at me.

"I'll leave you guys to talk." she mutters and leaves the room.

"Hey Louis-" I interrupt as soon as words come from Harry's mouth

"What do you want Harry? Are you here to tease me and tell me how fucking stupid I am? Because I'm not in the mood."

"No I-"

"Then what Harry! I can't even look at you without knowing that your closer to her than I am! Or thinking about how stupid I was to just ignore her! Or that your going to give her a home! Harry I-I can't even sleep without her being in my head! I can't do this anymore! I'm so fucking-" I couldn't finish my sentence. Because racks of sobs came from my mouth and tears flooded from my eyes. I cover my face in my hands.

"Lou it's going to be okay," Liam says putting his hand on my back. I don't respond- I can't- I don't have the decency.

"Look. Louis I'm sorry for what I said, and, I had no idea what you were- and still- going through. But it's going to be alright. You have us and El and-" I interrupt Harry again.

"I'm going insane Harry," I sniff

"Lou, your not insane. Your just going through a hard time. We all know how strong of a relationship you and Ember had. And you did the right thing mate. I'm sure you guys will find a way to each other again, trust me I know." Liam retorts

"Li I just want to go home. Please, just tell them I'm fine. They think I'm unstable. I just want to go home and sleep." I say wiping my eyes "I hate it here,"

"We'll try Louis." Liam says

"No. I can't sleep in here. Im exhausted."

"Fine. I'll see what I can do." Liam says getting up from his spot and leaving me and Harry in the room.

"I'm sorry." I finally say "I'm just a jealous fuck."

"Louis." he's serious "I'm not going to take her away from you. She loves you too much."

"Right." I scoff "How would you know that?"

"She told me." he said "I visited her this morning. She misses you Lou,"
