The morning wakes us with thunder and lightning. A gray sky and light drizzles. Kohn, who is still beside me, stirs, eyes fluttering open. "Morning Sukar" He pokes my rosy cheek. "Morning" A comfortable silence flies around us, the boy rests his chin on my head. Just as we were drifting off again, hands clap loudly in our ears. "Oben, oben!*" My mother gets us up. "Young love is nice, but this place is becoming messy and it feels smaller than it already is. Clean up while I see what I can fix for breakfast." She quickly leaves the room.

Stretching, we get up. "This place is pretty messy. How can we make this fun?" Kohn taps his chin. "Well," I begin. "We could start by getting Filip up." My hands are gently set on my hips. We quietly sneak up to the sleeping boy and tickle his sides. He squirms and giggles like crazy. "I have an idea! Why doesn't flip pretend to be a king and he tells us what we need to clean? It'll give him something to do too." "I like that! Filip, you wanna be a king?" "Yeah!" And so the cleaning began, but it took so much longer than we wanted as we had multiple tickle fights. We finally finished after several hours.

The door opens and we stop abruptly. Mother walks in, face sunken, eyes fallen. "I-I couldn't find anything" This didn't really come as a surprise. We're not able to find much either. I go and lean on the "windowsill". Our window is basically a square hole cut in the wall that overlooks the courtyard. "Someday, we'll get our of here. We'll get on on that train and have a better life." A sigh escapes my lips, finishing my day dream.
