Caught out

*Jai's POV*

Just as I placed my daughters sleeve back down, as if on cue the doctor walked in with Beau and Luke following, James and Daniel had to go to the meeting we were all supposed to attend,  but with Mia being in the state she is we couldn't leave her.

"Is everything okay" I asked the doctor

he replied by saying "Mia will be fine, she just had a panic attack, she needs to try and stay calm at all times to avoid another one. She can go as soon as you're ready"

I was so happy to hear the news,  Mia was okay.  She was able to leave and come back to the hotel with us! We finally had our baby girl with us. Then it struck me, I remembered I still had to face Mia and talk to her about her cuts.

We finally arrived at the hotel with me right by Mia's side and Luke and Beau following closely behind holding her things. 

*Mia's POV *

I still only really trusted Jai,  I felt like he had been there for me and saved me, I almost called him dad earlier,  how bizarre.  I walked along side Jai into the hotel they were staying at. We arrived at mine, Jais and Lukes room and I decided I would take a nap.

After what felt like a few minutes I was woken by Jai gently shaking my shoulder.  He looked both worried and upset.  I slowly woke myself up as I moved a bit further back to the wall as I asked what was wrong.

"I don't know how im going to say this, im not mad at you I just want you to know im here for you to help you get through it. Luke and Beau have gone to run through some things with Skip and James so its just me, and if you want I won't say anything to them"

by this point I was getting worried,  what is he on about?

"Stay calm, you don't want another panic attack but whilst you were in the hospital I saw something,  I saw some cuts on your wrist"

I burst out into tears I couldn't believe he'd found out,  hes going to hate me.

"Hey hey hey, shhhhh. Dont cry Mia"  he tried to cradle me, I pushed him off and offered my hand instead.  Yes I loved him but I wasn't ready for this contact just yet.

"But can I ask why you do this" the question I was dreading

I replied "I suppose im not in a very good place right now and I wish that everything would stop"

"okay that's a start but for me to help you I may need to know just a little more" I can't believe im going to have to tell Jai everything,  I really don't want to but I can't lie to him.

so I said "ummm, I-In the past my father did bad things to me, v-very bad things.  He raa-raa-raped me and abused me, I felt like I was worthless like I didn't belong.  Not only would he tell me this but a lot of other men did too, I suppose they were my dads 'friends' and...."

"and...? Mia take your time,  it's okay im here now,  ill protect you"

"A-a-and I tried to make everything disappear"

"What do you mean mi? what do you mean, try to make everything dissappear? "

Just as I burst to tears yet again Jai rubbed my back and I moved closer to hug him, he was taken back but then suddenly wrapped his hands around me gently I was so comfortable but realised I needed to tell Jai. I finally responded "I tried to end my life"

Jais grip suddenly got tighter and I cried into his chest.

*Jai's POV *

I can't believe Mia has just opened up to me like that,  she's the sweetest girl with a horrible story to tell. I decided we should go out with the boys to dinner to try and take her mind off of things.

I told Mia the plan and she picked out an outfit and hid something within her clothes,  I didnt have a clue what it was so I just let it pass. Luke walked into the room meaning the boys were all back, I had already confirmed the plans so they decided to just go as they were.

Me and Luke had been talking for a while just about what they had said at the meeting when I realised that Mia had been in the bathroom for all this time I sent luke to ask if she was ready.

*Lukes POV*

I walked to the bathroom door and knocked on, there was no answer.

"Mia are you ready?, its luke" still no answer so I decided to warn her I was coming in and I just opened the door.  There she was with blood all over her wrists, stomach and thighs. She look at me with innocent, teary, fearful eyes.

"JAI!" I screamed as Jai came running to the bathroom,  he stood in shock and ran up to Mia.
