Dad

*Jai's POV*

Lunch time was fast approaching and I still couldnt figure out what I was going to get Mia to try and eat. I was starting to get really hungry because all I ate was 4 bites of an apple, because that was all Mia ate. I really dont know how she did this to herself but I know that I am doing this beacsue I love Mia and I want to help her get better as soon as possible. 

I had been trying to distract Mia all day we had been playing games in the lounge, talking about anything and listening to music. litrally anything to try and help her forget about what she had eaten. his must be the best way to help her keep it down. I finally came to the conclusion that Mia could have some salad or pasta depending on what she prefered. I had a feeling shed choose the salad as it seemed the healthiest but by giving her some option, she was able to decide and make choices of her own, maybe later on she will have the pasta. 

"Mia, its nearly lucnch time, i was wondering if you wanted osme salad or some pasta" I said softly, Mia's face drained to a pale white as soon as I mentioned the food. oh shit. 

"umm Jai do i have to I mean can I just skip this?" Mia asked quietly, i could see how much pain this was causing her and i couldnt bare it but it would be worth it in the end, when Mia is better and can not worry about anything.

"I'm afraid not Mia, remeber were in this together, just come eat as much as you can. Thats all I ask" Mia sighed and dragged her feet to the kitchen where she told me she wanted some salad. she sat dwon at the table as i made converstaion whilst preparing lunch. I was only going to make mine and Mias lunch as it was important for her to not be crowded whilst she ate, it would only make her feel worse about eating. for now it will be just me and her.

We were listening to the radio and I was singing along, as the sng dies down i could hear Mia softly crying with her head in her hands. I quickly rushed over to her. "hey hey hey, whats up baby?"

"N-nothing, im fine" she spoke as she wiped away her tears and flashed one of her fake, broken smiles. 

"Mia, listen I'm  here for you okay, you can talk to me about anything, anything at all. I'm your dad your brother, whatever you want me to be. but there is clearly something wrong baby, why are you so upset?" she sniffled and lunged into my arms.

"R-really you want to be my d-d-dad?" I smiled, I really did want to be Mias dad I wanted to look out for her, be the one she can always rely on.

"Of course I do you're my little baby and I would absolutley love to be your dad, I love you"  Mias face grew a smile, this time it was different, it really was a real smile, not a fake one, she was happy, truly happy.

"So I can call you dad?" 

"Yeahh, so does my daughter want to tell me why she was sad"

"I dont think I can eat this dad, its too hard" Mia started itching her wrists, I knew exactly what she wanted to do, I grabbed her wrists and looked her directly into the eyes. 

"Dont listen to the voices, just llisten to mien okay. Were gonna go eat some salad and then we can go do something fun. We're in this together."

I walked  back over to the sald and placed it into two bowls, I placed one infront of Mia and the other infront of me. I sat down and tucked in, I glanced over at Mia who was still staring at her food. I gave her a reassuring smile and she picked up her fork and began to eat. Mia had managed 5 mouths of salad along with a glass of water, I was proud of her because I never thought she'd eat that much.

We both got up and left to go watch a movie in the lounge. Mia chose to watch This Is Us, by One Direction. She loved One Direction too but I still remeber her saying she was a massive Janoskainator. Its funny how shes managed to be so calm around us, I guess that was her though. Shy. 

I sat down on the sofa, Mia sitting next to me. I placed a blanket on top of us whilst we watched the film. Mia rested her head ontop of my shoulder. I was so into the movie, it was so funny. I looked down at Mia just as Niall was dressed as the security gaurd, she was fast asleep. She must she shattered after what shes achieved today. I just hope that this was the start to an amaxing life as a family, Mia, Beau, Luke, James, Daniel and me.

I know there wasnt that much action in this chpater but I cant think of anything atm. Arghh haha
