It Was The Calm Before The Storm

Sean laid wrapped up in Mark's arms, snoring peacefully. Mark smiled and stroked the side of Sean's face softly as he slept. Sean's head rose and fell gently as Mark's chest did. It was the calm before the storm. The peacefulness was ended abruptly with the piercing ringing of a phone. Mark jumped up quickly, startling Sean awake, as he answered the phone.  "Mmm Mark...?" Sean rubbed at his eyes sleepily.
"Hello?" Mark sounded hesitant and worried. Sean watched Mark's expressions change rapidly. Every so often he'd hear Mark speak to the person on the other side of the phone. "No....yeah...I know....you did...?!" Sean watched patiently. "I didn't even know you wa-......yeah but I l-......please just listen to me I-.....Wait what?!......When!...No no no please-" Mark sat frozen on the bed, until Sean touched his arm. Mark jumped up quickly and turned to Sean.
"Mark w-"
"You gotta go now!" Mark demanded. Although he seemed more worried than anything.
"But wh-"
"Now!" Sean tried again but was cut off by a red faced Mark. Sean bit his lip and nodded. He jumped off the bed and started grabbing his jacket. Mark all but shoved him out into the living room. Sean barely had time to grab his bag before he was rushed out the door.
"Mark please wha-"
"I love you...." Mark quickly exclaimed before slamming the door and locking it. He sobbed silently as his back slid down the door and he crumbled into a mess on the floor.
Sean stared at the locked door with a mixture of hurt and confusion. He wanted to knock. He wanted Mark to open the door and tell him what was wrong. He wanted to hold Mark and make everything okay. But his fist hesitated, and hovered in the air before lowering back down to his side. A tear slid down Sean's cheek as he shoved his bag further up onto his shoulder and took off.

Sean sobbed as he ran. He kept running and running until he got back to his dorm. Sean flung open the door to his dorm and wrapped himself in the covers. Evan and Jonathan jumped apart on the bed. "What the fuck, Sean!" Jonathan screamed. "There was a sock on the-....are you crying?" Evan and Jonathan clothed themselves quickly and rushed over to him.
"Sean what happened?" Evan asked softly. All he got in reply was muffled sobs. "Was It Mark?" More sobs. Evan sighed. "Can you tell me what happened so I can help you?" Sean didn't answer.

The next day Sean tried to call Mark. The phone rang two times and then went to voicemail. Sean frowned and called again. The same thing happened. When Sean finally gave up, he lost track of how many times he had called. Sean grudgingly put himself together (put together like a toddler tries to put together a puzzle) and headed to his classes.
Evan, Jonathan, Craig, and Tyler tried cheering him up throughout the day but were met only with sad eyes. Days went by and Sean only worsened. No texts...No calls...No nothing. Mark's channel had slowly lost subscribers. Why? He wasn't posting. He hadn't posted since his video about Sean. Some fans simply moved on, but the hardcore fans were planning to "prove" their loyalty.

Mark cried for a good 20 minutes on the floor before he remembered the reason he kicked Sean out. Mark jumped up onto his feet and wiped his face as clean as it could get at the moment. He rushed around his apartment, picking straightening things up. By the time he got to vacuuming, the doorbell rang. He shut the vacuum off and hesitantly headed towards the door. The doorbell buzzed again and Mark slowly turned the knob. He smiled sadly. "Hi mom."
