A large group of college students filled Mark's, well, Mark's mother's apartment. The young adults all piled in to help Mark move out and escape the clutches of his wicked mother. Currently, Sean and Mark were packing up Mark's gaming setup. As much as his mom fought, she couldn't take that away from him. It was a gift, no matter how much she tried to deny it. So in the end, Mark won, but his mom took a day off his packing time. So now he only had one day, today, to pack up the entire apartment. Sean and Mark rallied their troops and now they were here.
Mark and Sean had taken a break from packing and Sean was currently sitting in Mark's lap on the floor. He was showing him pins of household decor that he had pinned on pinterest. Try saying that ten times times fast (too many pins). Mark had a goofy grin planted on his face as he leaned in, closing the distance between them, and- CRASH! Sean jumped off of Mark's lap and the two of them went rushing into the living room, where they had heard the crash. A sheepish looking Jonathan and Evan were standing in front of a box fort and out crawled Craig, Tyler, Minx, Felix, and Craig's friend from before who was now going by Parker. In front of the fort was what looked to be a broken lamp. Sean marched up to the...children. They were children now because they weren't acting like the young adults they were meant to be. He crossed his arms, looking like a concerned mother, and that's when his children knew they were in trouble.
"Really?" He asked the children. "I expected this out of those two." He gestured towards Jonathan and Evan. "But, you guys? And you Felix. You're an RA. You're supposed to keep stuff like this from happening." Mark just stood back, looking awfully amused by the scenario. With tear filled eyes, Jonathan launched himself at Mark.
"I'm so sorry, Mark! I didn't mean to break it! I'll pay for it! Even though I can't afford anything other than Top Ramen and that lamp looked hella expensive!" Mark chuckled at the boys dramatic speel.
"Jonathan, it's okay. The lamp is not even mine. It was my mother's" Mark reassured him. Jonathan sniffled.
"It's okay?" He asked. Evan stepped forward as if he was going to beat up anyone who dared to hurt his boyfriend. Mark nodded and let the boy go. Sean however picked a broom up and swung it at the group of children. Yes, they were still Mama Bear Sean's children.
"Woah, watch where you're swinging that thing!" Felix yelped and jumped out of the way. Sean started chasing them around with the broom in his hand, swinging it around as he got close to them.
"Get back to work, heathens!" Sean hollered as he ran around.
"All my friends are heathens, take it slow." Parker teased, but instantly regretted it as the broom was turned on them. They yelped as they were hit by the broom. "Ouch okay, stop! I get it"
"No!" Sean bellowed as he continued hitting Parker. "This is what you get for being emo!" Parker laughed and held up their hands to defend themselves. Minx giggled at the scene, which was a bad idea, because the broom was turned on her next. She squealed with laughter as she ran away, only to run smack into Craig who tumbled over into Tyler. The three went tumbling down to the ground and everyone burst into a fit of laughter.
"Okay, maybe Sean is right." Tyler wheezed after they had all calmed down. "We should get back to work." So that's what they did. The young adults all managed to pack up the apartment in the time slot allotted and move it into Sean and Evan's dorm room. It was extremely cramped but they were going to make it work. They had to. Mark's plan was to rent out a storage unit tomorrow to get rid of some of the clutter until he could find another apartment, but for now, this was going to have to do. Evan decided until then he would stay at Jonathan's to give them some space. They definitely needed it. Mark and Sean squeezed past the boxes and laid down in bed with each other.
"I love you." Mark whispered to him. Sean froze. He had heard him say that the day that he kicked him out of the apartment but it was rushed and nothing like this. Sean blinked up at him, his heart beating fast in his chest.
"Do you really?" Sean asked, not knowing what it felt like to be loved before. Mark smiled that goofy grin at him again.
"Of course I do. I wouldn't want you to move in with me if I didn't. I'm not just using you for your good credit you know." Sean laughed at that joke.
"I think I love you too." Sean said softly, before adding, "No, I know I love you too." Mark kissed him gently and the two tangled themselves up in the sheets.
