12: The Encounter

*Today's date Sunday 2nd April 2017 . time 4 pm*

   Queenie found herself lost in thought as she sat in the cafe going over details of the grand opening of her new club, Barry a short pot belly man who was about forty five years old sat in front of her sipping on coffee and over the details of the club opening.

  Barry objected about the club being open in Richmond in the first place, the idea of a club opening in the country never caught his attention. It left a bitter taste in his mouth, but he went along with the plan cause of Queenie, this was her home town.
     Looking around he didn't really see much of a big  turn outs in tonights opening. "The guest list is looking okay' Barry said going over the list.
Queenie was expecting a massive turn out but Barry felt that a club in the country wouldnt be so exciting.

   Queenie got up placing some cash on the table, she looked at Barry smiling to him"see you tonight", Barry nodded as he watches her exit the café onto the busy street of Richmond.

   Adrian Morris was busy packing up his things, he had a pretty long day at the office since he was a defense attorney. Glancing at his watch which reads 6 minutes to 7 he was already late to pick up his son from his ex wife Shannon Davis.

   While packing away files he notice a picture on his mahogany table with his wife and child. He sat in his chair remembering when all was well when Shannon was his happiness and his safe haven, he loved her with every fiber in his body.

  She was the love of his life, they met in highschool where they dated but that ended when Shannon's family moved away. Two years later he met the woman who had haunted his dreams in the night.

  He felt like the most happiest man alive when he reconnected with her again, Shannon had already had a child in her previous relationship. Jayceon didn't knew his father.
   Adrian was hesitant at first but after Shannon convince him that they were meant to be; Adrian fell in love with the woman all over again with the woman who stole his heart.
   A year later Jayden Jayrel Morris was conceive and they were married the year after. Everything was pure bliss until Shannon started to act different she left Adrian home with the kids while she was out with friends.

   Adrian notice she was always on her phone, she rarely talk to him and when she did it always end in an argument. Adrian tried; he tried he really did but his wife left him for some money man in the city. He rarely saw his kid but when he did he cherish every moment as his last.

   His phone vibrated in his pocket making him stop day dreaming about his past. It was Shannon calling , probably about why he haven't came to pick up his son. To this day he was trying to figure out what he really saw in her.
 
   Sighing he picked up his briefcase and walks out his office saying a quick good bye to his receptionist; he got in his blue supra it was twenty minutes ride to Shannon house. Parking in the front of her house, he got out and saw her glaring at him.

   Rolling his eyes he calls out Jayden. Jayden picks up his bag and ran towards his father and waving to his mother and brother who were both standing on the porch looking at him.

    He got in and drove back to his place when his phone rang it was his friend Dingo. Ricardo Dingo Brown had been his friend his secondary school days." Yo, there Is this club opening tonight in Richmond"

    Adrian groans he hasn't seen inside a club since he had Jayden, "you know Jayden is over tonight"
"JJ, can stay with your in house maid Lisa and I could bring my nephews and Bruno could bring over his kids. They could have a sleep over while we check it out"

Adrian didn't like to leave his alone even if he had adult supervision, thinking about he agreed so it was set Adrian and his friends was club hopping tonight while his in house maid Lisa watches the kids.

   He got home around 7,he got in the shower and took care of his hygiene; he walks to his closet with his towel hanging loosely on his hips. He got dressed in a black skinny jeans and white polo T-shirt and black Jordan's and snapback on his head.

    Adrian, Dingo, Bruno walks towards the long line at club Explosion, Dingo walks up to the bouncer with the others following suit. He said something and the bouncer let him in and the others followed.

   Adrian look around the crowded club for a brand new club opening it had a good turn out,"going to get a drink"Bruno said, Adrian followed him. They both order a glass of Hennessey and was just watching around the club.

   Well sipping his drink he notice a dark skin girl with  natural hair and big bright eyes and suckable lips, she was wearing a blue off the shoulder dress and black pumps. She stood out, the woman notice him watching her and wink at him."Dam she sexy"

    Adrian signal the bartender and order himself another drink when he saw the woman from earlier sat down beside him, "What are you drinking ?"
"Henny" he said , she nodded while sipping on her drink.

  "What a beautiful lady like yourself doing in a club like this?"

Before she could even answer one of the waitress a piette brunette with piercing green eyes."boss we have an emergency"
Without looking back at the mysterious man Queenie followed the waitress.

" What was that about ?"Dingo ask coming out of nowhere.

"I think I just met the owner of this establishment"

   It's been so long since I update this story. This chapter might seem a bit rush and we have some new characters added. An there might be a new love interest of our there sweet Queenie Adams.....
Who is your favorite Adams sibling. I was thinking  instead of separating making a book for each sibling collarbate it in one book.....
