Chapter 16: Who is Adrian Morris?

      Queenie sat on her sister's bed in her studio apartment which she and her brother help to get. Stasi was helping her do her make-up and pick her outfit. She had three choices.
1: a fish tail camouflage skirt, white tank top and gold gladiator sandals with a gold chain and earrings.
2: a denim of the shoulder romper with white and black puma sneakers and diamond stud choker and diamond earrings.
3:black lace dress with sliver sequins and sliver pumps and sliver earrings and chain.

   Stasi went through the option and went for the first choice. She did her in a simple updo with a bang and did her makeup.  It was quarter past 6 when Adrian knocked on her sister's door clad in very expensive suit.
   Stasi let him in while Queenie put the finishing touches to her outfit. Happy with herself she grab her clutch and went downstairs. She saw her niece's and nephew's all around Adrian.

She smiles at him, Stasi took them to the kitchen for ice cream. Turning around Adrian came face to face with to his beautiful bright eye princess.

They sat in a upscale restaurant in Carlton. They order their meal and sat in total silent until she broke it.

"Who is Adrian Morris?" Adrian place his fork down and drank some wine.He clears his throat."well am a defense attorney I am 31 years old. I have a 6 year old son. My ex wife and I separated.
Queenie nodded."what about you. What's your real name cause we both know its not Queenie"he said earning a chuckle from Queenie.
"Its actually Belinda Adams, am 26 years old, I am an entrepreneur; I have two salons and a nightclub in the city. I have a salon and a nightclub in Richmond. I have no kids although I look at my niece's and nephew's as my kids."
   Just like that Queenie felt alive again. She was missing that spark, she was having fun, laughing and conversing with this man she met in last than 48 hours. Who knows he might be her Mr Right but she couldn't be so sure about that. She sat there watching this sexy buff dark chocolate man couldn't help but think was this real, was she dreaming. Was this another Cinderella fairytale the author forget to write. All sort of thoughts went through her mind as she sat their facing him.

"Are you okay" he said placing his hand on hers breaking her out of her day dream.
Queenie smiles, she was having fun why ruin it with a bunch of crazy thoughts. He clear did like her or else he wouldn't wine and dine her. Then it hit her was he doing this cause he wanted sex. She starts to frown thinking about him seeing her as some common whore.

  Adrian saw the lines as they grew on her forehead."what's bothering you, are you not having a good time?" He asked her.

"Am having a good time,excuse but I need to use the restroom"

She went to the restroom and in an empty stall where she calls her sister who was watching Orange is the new black on Netflix and eating Oreo cookies. Stasi glance at her phone and answers it when she notice it was her sister."is something wrong,is he making you pay for your food?"

Queenie laughs at her sister sense of humour" am having a great time, he is not making pay for my food at least  think he is not"
"So why are you calling if you having so much fun"
"I can't shake the feeling that there is more to this man then what he is telling me.
"Girl go have fun and stop thinking about whether that is some serial killer at least I hope he is not"she hangs up.

  Queenie looks at her phone and got out the stall and went back to her date.She was going to enjoy the rest of their date.
"I was starting to think you, you stood me up"
"Oh no,I was making a quick phone call to my sister"
"Is everything okay"he said
She nods, as she sat back down to enjoy the rest of the evening. They made light conversation when they had dessert.
   She was starting to warm up to him, he was good company; he made her laugh and had her smiling. When they left the restaurant it was a little bit after 10 time flew by when you was enjoying it.

    The moon shine brightly in the sky, it illuminate her skin; giving it a glow. Those big bright eyes shined so bright every time she glance his way. He was getting sucked in. He was starting to think maybe it was a good thing, this beautiful woman is his forever. That thought alone brought a huge grin to his face.

   They walks to the parking lot where they got in his Ashton Martin. "I see you got good taste in cars" Queenie said as she settles in her sit.

"I do" turning on the radio an old school vbyz kartel came on Adrian sang along and Queenie sang the chorous with Adrian cheering her on to continue the next verse; surprisingly she knew next verse.
"What do you know about vbyz kartel?"he asked. She told him he was one of her favorite artists along side Spice, Alkaline and Konshens.

   On the way to her sister's house which she Was staying at since she was babysitting the next day. Stasi applied to Richmond community college and tomorrow was her first day. As they pulls up the driveway she turns to face Adrian"I really had a great night, it was the best"she said smiling.

"I did too" she was about to get out but he stops her she looks at him puzzled, was she forgetting something,he looks at her and brought her face to his and kiss her.....

Oh what a night!!!!!!!
