~Anxiety's POV~
When I pop up in my room, the first thing I do is shove the pills some place where nobody will notice them. I turn around and notice a plate of food sitting on my bedside table. I assume it was left for me so I pick it up and dig in.
~Prince's POV~
I'm panicking. Even with Morality and Logics help, I still have no idea where Anxiety is. Right now, Morality is trying to calm me down while Logic tries to figure out something that we can do.
Suddenly Logic's face lights up.
"The tracker!!" he exclaims, rushing to the controls. Morality and I follow.
"The tracker?? What's the tracker?!" I ask frantically.
"Well I had forgotten about it because we never have to use it, but the tracker is an emergency system that the mind has. It's supposed to be used to locate any personality or emotion that the host needs if you can't find them when the host needs them. You'd be surprised how many minds have to use it. We're always conveniently around when we're needed but most minds aren't as organised and end up using it five times a day, at the least." Logic explains while typing away at the controls.
I watch as he loads up a sky blue screen with the words 'personality tracker' written in black. A little search bar pops up, along with words that say 'first put the name of your host, then the personality you want to find in this format: host's name; personality trait'.
Logic types out 'Thomas Sanders; Anxiety' in the search bar and presses enter. It spends a few seconds locating him before a map of our mindspace pops up with a little icon hovering over Anxiety's room.
"It says he's in his room?" Logic says confused, "but that's impossible, we all checked there!"
I leave him to rant about how 'this doesn't make any sense' while I rush to Anxiety's room.
I push open the door to see him sitting on his bed, munching away at a piece of bacon. He turns and looks when his door opens.
"Hey" he says calmly. He acts as if he was never even missing.
"What? But you- and now-" I take a deep breath, "where did you go?" I ask completely confused. He seems to shy away at this topic but answers anyways.
"Oh well... Thomas did that 'sleep summoning' thing you told me about... I was there..." he mumbles.
"Oh thank god!" I say and wrap him in a hug. He stiffens at first but soon relaxes. I hold him close and feel a tear make it's way down my cheek.
"I was so worried," I whisper, "I thought something bad had happened."
"It's okay," he says while rubbing my back, "I'm okay, I'm here now."
We sit like this for a while. Who would have thought that Anxiety would be the one comforting me?
"I'm sorry." he whispers. I look up at him.
"Sorry? For what?" I ask.
"For making you worry." He replies. He buries his head in my chest and I feel my heart skip a beat.
"You don't need to apologise. There was no way for you to have known that was gonna happen." I say as I play with his hair.
He nods and we lay here, enjoying each others company.
