~Anxiety's POV~

After the others leave I collapse. I shake and cry and curl into a ball. I gasp for breaths that aren't coming easily. This doesn't go on for long though. The attack soon makes my body shut down as I pass out, entering a dreamless sleep.

~Prince's POV~

We leave Anxiety's room sadly. Every thing that just happened weighing heavily on our minds. We stay in an uncomfortable silence until Morality speaks up.

"So uh... Now what do we do?" He asks.

"Well the best thing would probably be to tell Thomas. He has a right to know what's happening inside of his own mind." Logic responds.

"Alright then, shall we bo off?" I ask. They nod and we sink down. We pop back up next to Thomas, who is currently making cereal. He looks at us surprised.

"Hey guys, what are you doing here?" He asks. Logic, Morality, and myself all shoot each other a glance as if to ask 'who's gonna tell him'.

Logic steps up and says, "Thomas, something happened that we think you should know about."

"Oh, okay." Thomas replies, giving us his full attention. Logic is about to tell Thomas but stops, not seeming to know where to start.

"Well," I start, "After all that's happened, us three decided to keep watch on Anxiety. I was making him breakfast this morning, but he wasn't in his room when I went to deliver it. I looked around some other places and still couldn't find him. At that point, I was pretty worried so I called out to Morality and Logan to help me look. After a while we finally found him back in his room. It turns out you had 'sleep summoned' him. I wanted to keep an eye on him so that wouldn't happen again but ended up falling asleep because I was very tired from looking for him. When I woke up I could hear noise coming from the bathroom. The door wasn't closed all the way so I peaked inside. Then I found Anxiety, on the floor, with cuts littering his wrists."

"That's about the point where Logan and I showed up. We helped Prince bandage up Anxiety and clean the floor. We moved him back to the bed and then..." Morality trailed off. I don't blame him. Who would want to explain that! Soon Logic steps in once again.

"This next part is hard to explain but I figured we would have to so I took an audio recording of what happened." he says, holding up a phone. Thomas looks worried, but gives us the sign to play it. Logan presses the button and we begin to hear the conversation that happened mere minutes ago.

"Oh Anxiety, what happened?

Well I don't know all the details but I believe he was thinking about the... Incident... again...

Oh kiddo... You realize that Thomas is really sorry right? He never meant to hurt you. He didn't realize what he was doing, or the effect that it would have, until it was too late.

He didn't realize? How do you not realize something like that?! Like what? 'Hey look! These are called anxiety meds... They'll probably do absolutely nothing!' Yeah, sure.

Now Anx, you know that's not what I--

No! I don't want to hear your excuses! All this has made me realize something! I. Don't. Belong. Here! Seriously! I'm a fucking disorder! I don't get to be happy! I don't get to be ANYTHING other than anxious all the damn time. And don't try to tell me I'm wrong! Those pills exist for a fucking reason!! They don't have logic pills, or creativity pills, or morality pills now do they?!?! That's because those things are needed!! I'm. Not. I'm a good for nothing disorder that everybody hates! Everybody would be better of if I never even EXISTED!!!

Get out of my room...

Anxiety-

NOW!"

I flinch when I hear Anxiety's rant for the second time. Logan looks as if he blames himself and Morality is suddenly finding the floor very interesting. Thomas is full on bawling by the end of the recording.

"This is my fault... I brought this suffering upon him..." Thomas says sadly.

Morality tries to object but soon stops seeing as it isn't doing much good. It's silent for a couple of minutes.

"Don't worry," I say, breaking the tension, "we'll help him through this. I promise not to let anything like this happen again."

This seems to reassure him slightly. He gives us a weary smile.

"Take care of him for me. Make sure he's happy." Thomas says, giving us the signal to head back to the mind.

We share any last hugs, smiles, and/or comforting words we need to get out of our system, and sink back into the mind, determined to help Anxiety.
