Alan
Alex and Lynn get Tay to her feet and lead her down a couple floors (this place is huge) to what looks like a nursery.
"If you tell me to calm down one more time I will claw your fu-" she cries out in pain and would've fallen if Lynn didn't have an arm wrapped around her lower back.
"Alex shut up!" She yells.
"Sorry," he mutters with eye roll.
They get her laid down and Lynn holds her hand tightly as Tay groans in pain again.
"Lyndsey, if you tell me to calm down and just breath one more time, I will rip your ear off," Tay growls, her eyes diolating in anger.
---
"We are not naming her after you," Tay says for about the third time and yawing.
"How about Nova?" Lynn asks.
"Sure, that's cute," Tay says, yawning and closing her eyes.
"You can't go to sleep, doll," Lynn says softly.
"Why? Alex gets to sleep," Tay says pointing at Alex who's dead asleep on the floor.
"Yeah? Well you don't because that's dangerous," Lynn says kissing Tay.
"Mhm," Tay mutters, letting her eyes slip closed.
I can already see where this is going and kick Alex in the side until his eyes flutter open. And just in time, because in the blink of an eye Lynn is in a panic shaking Tay's shoulder to wake her up.
Alex jumps to his feet and Lynn grabs Nova and walks by me with a hand covering her mouth.
I stand up and wrap an arm around around Lynn, quickly and quietly guiding her out if the room while Alex immediately started pumping Tay's chest while muttering an array of colorful curse words.
"She'll be fine," I mutter as Lynn shakes.
Austin runs down the hall and his eyes are yellow and he still had his fangs and claws, leading me to wonder what he's been up to.
"What's wrong?" He asks, frantically, taking note of Lynn's hysterics.
I run a hand through my hair. "Tay stopped breathing and I'm hoping Alex has this under control. Where's Jack? Why are you just coming out of your wolf-self?"
"Don't worry about it, kitty," he says ruffling my hair, earning nothing but a scowl and a swat at his hand.
Lynn's eyes light up as Alex walks out, he glances at Austin in confusion, but quickly looks back at Lynn with a lazy smile.
"She's fine," he mumbles.
Lynn sighs in relief and leans against the wall, pulling her sleeping baby closer to herself.
Alex starts explaining what happened while Lynn watches with a bored expression. I can't help but notice the way Austin's foot taps on the hard floor, almost as if he's nervous about something.
What's got him so scared?

Alex
At about three in the morning and hours of tossing and turning I pull myself away from Jack, who managed to get his arms around me.
I silently slip out of the room and downstairs, but to my surprise the TV is shining brightly in the living room and there's hushed voices.
I lean against a wall listening to see who's up at this hour, besides me.
I listen to the voices and quickly conclude it's Austin and Alan, and they're arguing. Austin insisting that Alan needs to go to bed because he hasn't been sleeping much lately.
