"What are you guys doing?" James asked, appearing out of nowhere beside us.

"What? Who? Dancing!" me and Brad said in unison, letting go of each other.

"Yeah, right." He smirked, nudging Brad. "Brad, can I talk to you?"

"Sure." he smiled. "I'll be right back, Hell."

"Right. Go." I turned myself over and headed to the kitchen again, getting a glass of water.

My head was already dizzy and I had barely stopped drinking. Damnit, what would my mom say? And what the hell was that that just happened between me and Bradley? A moment or something? What were his hands doing holding my waist with such strenght?

"Hello, there." a quite ginger girl, with big green eyes, stood beside me.

"Holy crap! You scared me!"

"I'm sorry." she smiled. "I'm Allison."

"Heloise, nice meeting you."

"Nice meeting you too! So, who do you know over here?"

"Well, my cousin, Brad Simpson, dragged me. He's friends with James."

"I've heard Tris talking about Brad..."

"Who's Tris?" I asked, curiously.

"My boyfriend." she pointed at a tall guy, with a messy hair and the most sparkly blue eyes I'd ever seen.

"Lucky you!" I said playfully, and she giggled.

"I know, right? He's the most awesome guy ever. He's so funny." she then sighed.

"You love him." It wasn't a question.

"A lot." she nodded. "Do you live around?"

"No, I'm only visiting my grandma. What about you?"

"I live across the street."

"Is this place actually this boring or is it just me?"

"You could die from the boredom. Seriously. I can barely wait till I go off to uni." she rolled her eyes and we both laughed.

My phone buzzed and I looked at the screen. "It's my mom, I should pick up outside."

"Go ahead."

I stepped as far of the house as I could, so that she wouldn't hear that much noise.

"Hi there, mum."

"Where are you, young lady?" her voice was nearly a squeal.

"At the party, why?"

"When are you planning on coming home?"

"What time is it?"

"It's almost 2 in the morning! We have to get up early to go back!"

"Oh. I didn't realize it was that late. I'm getting Bradley and we'll be back in a few, alright?"

"Better be that way." she snorted and it took all of me not to laugh.

"See you soon, mom. Love ya." I hang up and went after Simpson.

I walked through all of the party and realized they should be on the first floor. I climbed upstairs and finally heard two male voices coming from a room. I was almost knocking when I heard the mention of my name.

"Leave me alone, man." Brad mumbled, frustrated.

"You like Heloise, don't you?" James squealed.

"I don't!"
