"Don't do that, mom. I beg you, don't do that!" my heartbeat was fast and hard, thumping against my chest and loud in my ears.

"You can't beg, you did something very wrong and I don't care how much you protest, if you start crying, bawling, I don't care. You're going." she pointed a finger at me, breathing fast.

"Why won't you try to understand? I love Bradley!"

"Don't say that! What you two did was nothing but a mistake!"

"It wasn't a mistake! He's the sweetest guy ever, and he treats me well. I know that people find it wrong, but we don't care!"

"I care. And I'm your mom. You're 17 years old, you don't have control over your life. I always allowed you to do whatever you wanted, but now you got too far. Crossed the line!" she closed her eyes for a second, and wiped away a single tear that threatened to leave her eye. "Now, get started on packing cause I want you out of here before midnight."

"Mom." I reached out to try and grab her arm, but she was faster than me, leaving the room. "Mom! You can't do that to me!"

She slammed the door shut as I stood there, motionless, trying to come up with a way of getting out of this mess.

Nothing. The only way was running away with Brad, but we didn't have any way to communicate so that would be able.

My body fell to the ground, mimicking pathetically how my heart felt: hopeless.

*

I was dressed completely in black, my hair hiding most of my face. I had cried everything I could possibly cry. My eyes were red and puffy, nose runny and I felt like absolute crap. Completely stupid for me to dress up in black, but that was the only way of making clear that I didn't agree with what my mom was doing. She was going for the easiest alternative; send the girl to another freaking continent, and all your problems will be solved. They are just a couple of teenagers that don't know what they're doing, much less the consequences of their acts.

Foolish. Utterly foolish. Brad and I knew exactly what we were doing, and we had been preparing for the imminent situation. We only didn't expect that one of our parents would react so badly.

I hadn't told Brad or anyone about what was happening right now; don't think my mom did too anyway. There wouldn't be a chance for me to say goodbye.

Goodbye. It hurt me to think about the word. Maybe it was better like this. No goodbyes, no pain, no crying, no nothing. Once he knew, I would be far away from here. From him.

Sighing, I entered the cab that awaited me and my mom, its trunk packed with my luggage.

The only goodbye I said was to the house I lived my whole life in.

Brad's POV

It had been about 10 minutes since I left Hell's house. I stood outside for that long trying to listen to their argument, but it was only time wasted.

"You're back already? I thought you'd be at Brad's for longer." my mom said, smiling, as I made my way back inside the house.

I considered my options. Pretend that he was sick and I came back or tell her about what just happened.

The truth was that I was frightened about what her mom was going to do. She looked like she could have a heart attack right there when she caught me and Hells. Worse than when she first found out.

"Yeah, what happened, Brad?" Caroline asked, shooting me a wink.

"He was sick, I had to come back."

Before they could question me, I ran upstairs and locked myself in my room.
