“It was very nice meeting all of you.” Daniel smiled widely, shaking each one of us’ hand.

“We feel the same way. Come back soon!” my mom smiled too, as Megan guided her boyfriend the way out.

“Finally, that man is out.” Bradley threw his hands up in the air, celebrating, and we laughed.

“C’mon Brad, you know he’s perfect for your mom.” my mom ruffled his hair and he snorted.

“I know. Goddamn, that guy is like Mr. Perfect. It’s kinda boring, actually.”

“Stop finding flaws in him, damn.” Caroline shoved his arm and walked up the stairs.

“Have you been working out? That hurt!” Brad yelled and we heard his sister’s muffled laugh.

“So, dear, shall we go wash the dishes and then head home?” my lovely parent pushed me towards the kitchen as I groaned in protest.

“Yes, go do that, Hell. Imma head to my warm bed.” the curly-haired boy smirked, but his happiness was finished by Megan’s evil laugh.

“No way, sir, you move your pretty arse to the kitchen too.”

“But mom! Caroline went to bed!”

“She has exams tomorrow, she needs to rest. Now stop whining and get moving!”

“Fuck! I hate my life.” I cursed to the air as I stared at the mess my room was. There was no way I could finish that in time to do anything else in my freaking day.

Great, another summer day locked up in this damn house.

“What happened?” Brad asked from behind me and I jumped in the air.

“Are you trying to get killed or something? You scared me!” I tried to sound mad but as soon as my gaze fell over his dishevelled curls my voice softened.

“Looks like someone is needing some Bradda lovin’.” he stepped closer and kissed the tip of my nose as I chuckled.

“Close, but wrong. What I need is my room to magically clean up by itself.” I tugged at the collar of his shirt and looked into his eyes.

“Why do you have to clean it up? It looks fine to me.”

I giggled annoyingly and Brad bent his head to the side, thoughtfully.

“What’s so funny?”

“Curly, this room is a total mess. And there is no way I’m finishing it before the sun sets.”

“Well, I can either help you mess it up even more, or get it bright and shining. Pick wisely.”

“Mhm…” I tapped my chin, pretending to give hard thinking on my choices. “I think I’m going to go with getting it bright and shining.”

His face fell apart as he stuck out his lip, pouting. “Seriously?”

“Seriously.”

“Then we better get to work.” Brad’s arms vanished out of my waist and I felt the coldness hit my skin. The heat of his arms were nice, I kept wishing they would never leave.

Oh well.

“Isn’t this a masterpiece?” I wondered aloud proudly, staring at the beautifully clean room and nudging Brad on the side.

“Damn right it is, there’s Bradley Simpson’s work in it.”
