Nishina and Serinuma sat in Seri's room, chatting and casually reading some hidden manga that Nishina had found at her house.

"Senpai!" Nishina exclaimed suddenly, her eyes lighting up as she came across one page of the book. She quickly turned it so the other girl could see. It was a slip of paper that had been messily stuffed inside of the novel as a bookmark.

"What is it?" Serinuma questioned as she lifted the note and gently unfolded the paper, reading the words thoughtfully and with burning curiosity. She soon recognized the writing and a cute smile grew on her lips, for it was the email she had sent Nishina before they properly knew each other. Seri could remember the first time she read the book, and how it "made her soul tremble"!

The girl giggled and gave her the note back. "That was such a long time ago!" she recalled, sighing happily as she remembered that Comiket. It was before she had her current friends, and when she still weighed more. She glanced at Nishina. Luckily Nishina liked her no matter how she looked.

"It was..." Nishina agreed, nodding her head. Suddenly, an idea popped into her mind and she flipped to the front of the book, tearing out the first sheet. Serinuma gasped. What is she doing? she wondered confusedly.

The younger girl grabbed a lonely pen off of Seri's nightstand and quickly jotted down a few words on the paper, her tongue sticking out with concentration.

Nishina finally finished, a satisfied smirk on her face, and handed the flimsy paper to the girl. The paper read:

Serinuma,

I hope you will always remember the first time we met, and think of the several times we met without knowing. I'm trying to think of more deep things to add, but I sadly cannot. Anyway, I must give you this paper as a memory of our forgettable first meeting!

Love you always,

Yokojima-Sensei

Seri smiled happily and hugged the girl, giddy with excitement over Nishina's pen name, since it reminded her of the lovely manga that she drew. Nishina kissed her forehead and smiled at her girlfriend's enthusiasm.

"Kae!" a booming voice called from downstairs. Serinuma gasped in utter surprise and happiness; her father was here! She climbed out of bed and ran down the stairs quickly, already thinking of the various stories and things she would tell her father when she met up with him.

"Dad!" She exclaimed excitedly as she recognized the tall man that stood pridefully in the hallway. The girl ran to him and gave him a big hug.

"I'm happy you're here! How long are you staying?" Seri questioned enthusiastically.

"Ah well, maybe this weekend and Monday, but that's all for now."

"Okay, that's plenty of time!" she exclaimed, before her eyes widened in realization. "Oh! I remembered I promised to help Mom cook tonight!" She gave her father one last hug and dashed off shouting, "we'll catch up more later!"

The man let out a satisfied sigh and went up the stairs, sleepy already and planning to take a nap.

As Hideo walked past his daughter's room, something caught his eye. He cautiously looked around, before pushing open the door and grabbing the conspicuous white slip of paper on the bed. Accidentally crumpling the paper, he brought it to his face and readjusted his glasses, squinting at the words.
