I woke up. My breathing was hitch. My face was wet. My eyes were red. My throat was sore.
It was all a dream.
All a dream.
Everything was just a dream.
Tomorrow is Sunday, which means that I haven't gone to school yet. I pick up my phone find my favorite name and text it.
Zach :)
Zach I am so sorry
I put my phone down and decided that maybe I should get some food. I didn't think I would ever get a reply suddenly my phone buzzed.
Zach :)
No Vanessa I'm sorry. Can we maybe please hang out right now?
Yes. I am really hungry. you?
Food sounds good :)
Pizza?
Great see you in 20
I smiled. I got dressed and grabbed my keys and left a note for my mom. I went to the only pizza place near by and waited. 5 minutes later in comes the handsome Zach Dorsey.
"Hey beautiful is this seat taken?"
He is so cheesy.
"Actually it is. I'm waiting for my handsome boyfriend." Smooth Vanessa.
"How handsome?" Zach said smirking.
"very" I said as he sat down.
We ordered and talked and talked some more and everything is okay now. He came over to my house afterwards and we watched movies and cuddled until my mom got home. Zach was only here because of me and the guys were out so my mom let him stay. We cuddled some more. it felt so right with him. Like all my problems were gone and that there was no care in the world. That the only people is me and him. That is how I fell asleep in his arms. Him protecting me from all harm in this world.
THE NEXT MORNING
I woke up and I was still in his arms.
"Good morning sunshine." My mom said
"Morning mom, what are you making?"
"Waffles and eggs."
"My favorite."
"Mine too." Zach said wrapping his arms around me.
His morning voice is the best thing ever.
The doorbell rang and I got up to answer it and in comes a Kristin and Alex.
"Hii Nessa" Kristin said.
"HI? What are you doing here?" I asked
"We are here because Austin needs Zach and Kristin needs you." Alex said.
"But we were just about to eat."
"Oh no thanks Kris and I ate before we came." Alex said while grabbing Zach out the door. Zach waved goodbye as he was rushed out and Kristin shut the door.
"What was that?" I asked kinda angry at the fact that Alex just stole my boyfriend.
"Zach was needed for like some big surprise thing the guys are doing. Alex wouldn't tell me what but he said it is going to be special and Jake is even doing it." she said
Great that means Caitlyn ew.
"Oh that's cool." I looked at my mom who was just finishing the eggs.
"Food looks great Mrs.Styles I am so hungry." Kristin said
"I thought you and Alex already ate?"
"We didn't. We were supposed to but plans got changed and yeah now i am here." She said
"Oh okay." I said sitting down. Kristin and I finished eating and then I checked my phone and man Twitter was blowing up.
"Kristin do you go on twitter?" I ask
"Yeah..." She said
"Oh. Do you ever get mean comments sent to you?"
"All the time. it makes Alex so mad because he can't do anything. But it's okay because he reminds me he only loves me."
Kristin started blushing so hard "He did."
"OMG WHEN?"
"Last night."
"Omg Kristin that is so cute. I wonder how it is going to be like when they all have to leave and we still have to go to school?"
"um well Alex told me that he is going to stay here with me and that Austin is thinking about bringing Danika on tour with him only if her mom says yes. Which she probably will because Danika's mom really likes Austin."
"That's cool I wonder if Zach is going to stay here with me or not. Probably not."
We finish watching TV and then Zach and Alex come back. Alex and Kristin leave and Zach comes over to me on the couch and wraps his arms around me.
We just enjoy the silence. it is one of those silences where nobody needs to say anything and it so comfortable. I didn't realize but I fell asleep on him.
My alarm starts blaring "Recovery" By Justin Bieber. (come on who doesn't love the biebs?) I wake up and start to get ready for school. I kiss Zach's head and leave. I assume when he wakes up my mom will tell him where I am. I grab my keys and start my engine. Once I reach school I go to my girl's morning spot.
"Hey Nessa the guys want to do that thing tonight." Kristin says
"If I don't have that much homework. School is going to be a killer today."
"I am sorry man. it must suck." Lilly said
"Yeah hopefully it's not that much it wouldn't be the same without you tonight." Danika said.
I look up and see Caitlyn walking towards us with the most pissed off look ever.
"Sucks that Zach has to leave for college tonight doesn't it Vanessa?" She said.
wait what.
"What?" I ask in confusion.
"Oh he didn't tell you? oops." She said with a big smirk on her face.
No no no no, This is just a lie. Zach will still be here. He will still be mine. He will always be mine. So what it's just college.
I was so zoned out I hadn't even noticed that Jake was over here. I didn't realize that I was crying.
"I have stuff to do. Bye." I walked to my 1st period and just sit and stare at the wall.
