The Phone Call

Chapter 10

I woke up still in Zach's arms I loved his smell. He smelled so good. He woke up and kissed my forehead.

"Good morning beautiful." He said in his beautiful morning voice that makes me die every time I hear it.

"Morning babe." I say getting closer to him.

We just lay like this for a while. My head on his chest. His arms around me. My mom walked into my room.

"Vanessa today is the day that- Oh hi Zach I didn't know you were here." She said smiling.

"Hi Ms.Styles yes I stayed the night. We got home and you were already asleep, Vanessa didn't want to disturb you. I hope that it is not a problem." Zach said trying so hard for my mom not to get mad.

"No it's okay sweetie. I was actually going to wake Nessa up so we could go see you before you leave. I can't believe you are going to college Zach." My mom said sounding so much like a mom.

"Me neither. But no matter what I will not leave or hurt your daughter in any way." He said smiling at me.

"I know. I can tell you really like her. Well you kids get ready and we will go meet your friends for breakfast." She said shutting the door.

I get up and go to my closet. I find my favorite jeans and a cute shirt and my black converse. I wait for Zach to get out of the shower. I keep thinking of all the negative things I could think about. Mainly one thought kept coming to my mind. He was going to find someone better then me. I finally heard the shower turn off. The door opened and there stood a wet Zach with a towel wrapped around his waist. I couldn't keep my eyes off of his body.

"Like what you see?" Zach says smirking at me. i quickly snap out of it and blush while looking down at the floor. Zach laughed "Babe you're so cute."He said while grabbing his clothes and walking back to the bathroom. He shut the door and got dressed. 20 minutes later we were on our way to have breakfast with our friends one last time before we all left. Zach was holding my hand and rubbing circles with his thumb. It felt comforting to have him here with me. We arrived and greeted everyone. We talk and ate and laughed at the stupid stuff we have done. It felt so right to be here with all of them. Just smiling with no care in the world it felt nice and i wouldn't trade it for the world. We took a group picture together and agreed we would all hangout with any chance given. my mom was taking Zach home. I was litterally enjoying these last few moment with him. we arrived at his house and i almost started bawling.

"Babe i promise we will get through this. i love you with all my heart you mean the world to me. we will call, text, skype, oovoo whatever we need to. this relationship will work okay. you can come visit me and i'll come visit you. it is going to be okay. i love you tons babe" and with that zach kissed me and we hugged for a long time. i had to let go before he missed his flight from not being on time. i told him i loved him and that i will always be there for him. i got back in the car and as soon as we turned off of his street i let all my tears out. my mom tried her best to comfort me but nothing really worked. i just wanted Zach.

*ZACH'S POV*

I missed Vanessa so much it's not healthy. i haven't even left yet but it feels like i have. i really hope this relationhip works out because she has become a big part of my life and i need her.

"Zach are you ready to leave?" My mom asks

no i'm not i want my Vanessa. i lie anyway and say yes. i bring my suitcase down and put it in the car. my mom and dad are driving me to the airport. we get there and we say our goodbyes and i promise to call them everyday. i board the plane and my only thoughts are of Vanessa. i miss her so much. i decided to text her before my plane leaves.

Hey babe the plane is about to leave but i wanted to tell you i love you

in no time she replies back

i love you too have a safe flight(:

I put away my phone and get out my earphones. i plug them in and put them on i was about to fall asleep when i get a tap on my shoulder. i look up to see Michelle. looks like she is on this flight and just so happen to get the seat next to me.

"zach what a surprise seeing you here. it's like fate is trying to say something."

"i don't know what fate is trying to say but i'm saying that you should just leave me and Vanessa alone. I love her and she loves me i'm sorry but you're just going to have to accept that."

Michelle just looks at me like she knows something i don't and that i should watch my back or whatever. halfway through the flight she puts her head on my shoulder and falls asleep. some old lady passing by sees and awwes thinking that we are a couple. if only she knew how much i wanted to rip Michelle's head off she wouldn't think it was that sweet then. i make it through the rest of the flight with no disturbance and finally land. As soon as i get off the plane i immediately check my phone for any messages and turns out i have 40 of them from all my friends i just brush it off and go get my luggage. i call for a cab and finally get one i tell them the address of my college. When i get there i go to check in. While i'm waiting in line some girl runs into me.

"i'm so sorry" she says

"It's okay ha" i say back

"Hey aren't you friends with Austin Mahone? You're Zach right?" I nod my head "Hi i'm Taylor i'm a sophmore here and i could show you around later if you want." she says smiling.

"Yeah that would be great." she gives me her number so that i can text her when i'm ready. i finally get to the front of the line and get checked in. i go look for my room and pray that i don't have some creepy roommate. Once i open the door i thank god. There stands some tall, tanned, blonde guy. he looks really chill. "Hey i'm Cameron." He says holding his hand out. "Hi i'm Zach." i say shaking his hand. we talk and get to know each other more. Cameron is really cool so i ask him if he wants to come with me and Taylor he agrees and i text her that i'm ready. we meet up in the cafeteria. Taylor turns out to be really cool and i think her and Cameron have this thing going on. watching them flirt makes me think of Vanessa which makes me think of my text messages. i decide to read them all when i get back in my room.
