*ZACH'S POV*
Cameron and Taylor decided to keep hanging out but i wanted to go back to my room and call Nessa i miss her so much. As soon as i make it into my room i take out my phone and put it on the charger. i open up my text messages and click on the recent one it's from Danika.
ZACH ANSWER US
i keep scrolling through the messages until i reach the top one from Danika.
Hey um Zach i know the others have texted you this already but maybe you haven't gotten their messages idk i'm just very sorry for you and we all miss you and we are all going to miss Nessa too and idk what to think anymore and idk please text us back when you get the chance.
i reread the text message over and over again what do they mean. why are they going to miss Vanessa? she's still there for another month. i call Danika because i have no time to text.
"Hey Zach how are you feeling?" "Good i guess just a little confused. what do you mean you're going to miss Nessa?" "oh Zach she is in the hospital in critical condition they don't think she is going to wake up at all." My whole heart just shattered. "What?" i say my voice breaking. "She was walking when she got hit by a bus it came out of nowhere." "i have to go now i'll see you soon." "Zach i don'-" i hung up before she could say anything else my baby is in the hospital and they expect me to just sit here and not even come see her college will just have to wait. i pack my bags and look for available flights they were all pretty expensive but i found one that leaves in 2 hours. as i'm walking out the door i run into cameron. "Leaving so soon?" He says "Yeah my girlfriend is in the hospital." i say holding back tears "I hope she is okay soon and you come back it was great meeting you." "You too." i run out get a cab and make it to the airport. i get my ticket and wait for my flight to be called. i really start to freak out i just want to see Vanessa as soon as possible i need her in my life i need her. Finally my plane gets called and i board the plane. i sit down and just think about Vanessa. i end up falling asleep the rest of the flight. i finally land and get off and get my luggage. i make my way to the hospital. i go to the front desk and ask for Vanessa styles i then run to her room.
"Zach i wouldn't go in there..." Alex says. i don't care how bad she looks i need to see her i need to let her know i love her and that i'm here. i walk in the room and almost cry at the sight of her. she is bandaged and bruised and barely breathing. i sit down in the chair next to her and grab her hand. i hold tightly on it and just kiss it.
