Every night,
I lie awake out of fright.
My love being miles away,
Makes me wonder every day,
"Will I ever get to be with them?"
Whenever I think this,
I think of your kiss,
Your warm embrace,
And it warms up my heart and my face.
You may be across the country,
But it doesn't stop me from believing in us.
If I ever doubt our love, I think,
"At least we are under the same sky."
At least we are under the same sky,
At least we observe the same stars,
At least we sleep under the same moon,
At least we wake up under the same sun.
We will always be under the same sky,
Which assures me that you are mine.
Although we may not be together today,
There will come a day,
Where we sleep under the same moon,
Except I'll be waking up next to you.
