Chapter 24.

Austin's P.O.V

1439 Freemantle Drive.

I tried to look at Ally but my body refused to let me. I just stood there staring at the place of the accident. Then a car passed by,
the wind from it snapping us out of our shocked state. I felt my body tense and start to fill with adrenaline. No. No. I'm not gonna run, I'm not gonna leave her.

She sighed, letting out the breath I know she had been holding inside of her. I observed her starting to shake and wince as if some type of video was painfully being replayed in her head causing tears to start brimming her eyes.

I then started to feel it too. The memory slowly blending with reality, every time I closed my eyes I saw her lying there, suffering. I then open to see nothing but a regular street, just how it was before the accident. I reach for her hand to make sure the illusions hadn't gotten the best of me.

She then completely does the unexpected. She takes one foot off the sidewalk and onto the street.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm going to walk across t-to the other side." She says still shaking.

"B-but I don't think that-" I try to reason.

"I'm tired of living in fear." She takes a deep breath and places her other foot onto the street.

I follow her, and she gently grabs my hand. We walk step by step, holding each other. I smile at her as we get closer. We look at each other and both place our feet on the other side.

"You did it!" I pick her up and spin her around.

"No, we did it!" She smiles with tears of joy streaming down her face before pulling me into tight hug.

Then she lightly places her soft lips on my cheek,

proving that this haunting nightmare is finally over.

Awww!:) I'm gonna apologize now for being such a horrible human being for not updating! 😁 buttt on the other hand if you understand where Freemantle is from you deserve a virtual hug for having to go through that torture!! And yupper duppers hope you guys are having a good week!:)
