Chapter 30.

No ones P.O.V

Austin's bedroom

A week later-

7 days. 7 whole days since they were last together in the practice room, where Austin had his great realization. 7 days of not speaking or seeing Ally because of his own bubbling nervousness. For the last week he's had everyone convinced he caught some terrible "cold" when truthfully the closest to ill he is right now was lovesick.

He's spent 7 whole days trying to manage all of his (well he doesn't know exactly what to call them) feelings.

Feelings he can't understand and is thoroughly confused by. Feelings that have completely thrown of his game. Is this really what love feels like? He thinks to himself. If that's so he's definitely calling in sick for another couple days.

His thoughts are interrupted when his mother walks through the door.

"Austin sweetie, how are you feeling?"

He pretends to cough and speaks with a nasally voice.

"Not so good, I think I might stay home a few more days."

"Okay sweetheart." She nearly was out of the room.

"Oh I almost forgot I know something that will make you feel better, someone's here to see you."

No. No. Please. Please no. He prays, don't let it be Ally. He's still in his pajamas and hasn't gotten around to brushing his teeth yet. He can't face her not yet, he's a complete and total train wreck currently.

"HEY BUDDY!!"

"Thank god." He mumbled to himself, it's just Dez. Whew!

Austin's P.O.V

"Hey man I heard you weren't feeling well so I brought a mixture of hot soup, tea, orange juice, 6 cough drops, hot sauce, 4 raw eggs, and one cup of cinnamon to try!"

"Dude it's just a cold, how is that supposed to help anyway?"

"What?" He laughs at me.

"You thought I brought this for you? I wanted to try it!" He chugs half of it and tosses it to me.

"Want some?"

"I'm good." I reassure him.

"More for m- hey! You're voice doesn't sound stuffy." He presses his hand against my forehead and rubs down my face.

"And you're not running a fever." He then proceeds to hit me in the stomach.

"Ow!"

"No stomach ache hmm... You're not sick! And to think I was so worried about you." He scoffs.

"Yeah you caught me I'm not sick but I am having problems."

"Did that rash come back?"

"Well- What? Um no!"

"Sooo what's wrong Austin?"

How am supposed to word this? I guess like mom always says rip it off quickly like a bandage.

"IminlovewithAlly." Whew! felt nice to get that out of my system.

"What?" Dez asks,confused.

"I just told you."

"Could you slow it down?"

Ugh. Why does he have to make this so hard for me? Bandage, bandage, bandage I say to myself.

"I'm in love with Ally."

"What?" His jaw drops completely open.

"I love Ally like a lot and I don't have the guts to face her."

"Wow..."

"Dude I can't think straight my head is just completely full of thoughts of her eyes, and hair , the way she smiles, her scent-"

"Woah woah woah! It seems like someone is in desperate need of the love doctor. First of all calm it with the mushy stuff you're making me feel uncomfortable."

"Oh sorry."

"Second of all you need to get out there and see her-"

"What?! No, I can't!"

"Austin you can't just stay in here forever pretending to be sick." He pats my shoulder.

"I'm afraid there's just not enough chicken soup for your soul."

"Okay fine I'll go to Sonic Boom right now!" I start walking out the door before Dez stops me.

"You might want to change out of your pajamas." He sniffs the air.

"And do something about that stanly dragon breath, seriously what died in there?"

Okay 7 whole days has been long enough, I'm going to see her.

Sonic Boom-

Austin's P.O.V

"Thanks for shopping at Sonic Boom here's you're change." She says and I start to feel all sweaty. Am I really ready to see her?

Shoot. She saw me

"Hey Austin!" She calls out. I feel more nervous with each step toward the counter.

"Hey, you look better I hope you got the soup I sent you." She smiles.

"Yeah, uh thanks."

"You're very welcome, so what's going on?"

"I love you."

"What'd you say?"

Crap. Crap, Crap.crap.crap. How am I going to self out if this one.

"I um meant, you're really attractive." AUSTIN WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

"Come again?"

"Nothing, nothing's going on. Go, I mean I um have to uh go BYE!"I try to get out of there quickly as I trip on everything in the store possible.

No ones P.O.V

Dez strolls into the store.

"Hey Dez."

"Hey Ally, Where's Austin going?"

"I have no idea. What's wrong with him? He's been acting strange."

"Oh he's in love." Dez's eyes widen.

"With that soup you made him Wooh I bet he's going to go try to make some on his own ha.... Yeah, well look at the time- bye Ally!"

Austin darts back to his house. Controlling these feelings are going to be a lot harder than he thought, and he definitely is going to need help with this love thing. He is going to have no other choice but to seek help from the "love doctor"............. and
