What possessed you to tell him that?” Jazzy’s voice echoed through the phone. I sat on my chair starring at the computer screen, where I was streaming photos Leo had posted on his personal page. There was one with him on the field with the rest of the football team, through his dirt covered face, all you saw were his bright eyes glowing. Then there was one with him and Ashley sitting on the docks by Prince View Lake. I lifted my hand and blocked her face. He was gorgeous. I sighed and turned to the next photo.
“I have no idea,” I replied taking a fistful of popcorn and stuffing it down my throat. “It fell right out of my mouth, like word barf.” Word barf was concept Jazzy and Gretchen named the phenomenon when I blurt things out without thinking. It was something that happened very often when I was little. I used to tell people that my mom was on her period and that’s why she was yelling at me, I was seven.
“Why don’t you set your sights on another guy?” Jazz asked, “I mean Leo isn’t going to leave Ashley and even if he wanted to, she’ll never let him go.” She was right though, Ashley was controlling and big-hearted, Leo wasn’t going anywhere.
I sighed. “I know, but he’s perfect.”
She laughed. “If you want perfect, date a robot.” Date a robot, eh? I thought to myself, why not? I closed Leo’s window and just for the fun of it, I Googled Robot Boyfriend. I mean what’s the worst thing that could come up?
“Sam, I have to finish up some stuff. I’ll see you tomorrow.” I wasn’t fazed by her goodbye. I nodded and hung up. I was too amazed at what I saw…

I stared at the screen and laughed. This had to be a joke. I shrugged, minimized the screen and went to bed with a grin playing on my lips. This was too funny.

I opened my eyes and go out of bed, at that moment I pulled on a pair of jeans that lay on the floor and a clean tee with the words "No Regrets" spralled across my chest. I then stumbled over to my computer and starred at the website once more. There was something about it that was just eating me up inside.
I looked up at the old ceiling fan that my father had installed when i was young. It used to be my grandmother's. I watched as it turned slowly making me almost drowsy and ready to fall once again into a deep slumber but instead I thought about the stories my mother had said to me.
My grandmother Samantha Chensing was a tough woman who did amazing things and tried her best in every aspect of her life. "We named you Samantha because we wanted you to be as great and amazing as your grandmother was." I remember the words coming from my mother when I was eight years old. I was doing a project on my name I remember. I smiled to myself. Granny Sammy wasn't afraid of doing crazy things; she wasn't one to hesitate when it came to jumping the gun.
I looked back at the screen once more.
Oh, what the heck.
