We were in Leo's car; my bike was in the trunk, clunking as we drove away from the lake. I turned my head to watch the road stretch and the lake shrink smaller and smaller until it was no longer perceptible to my eyes. I turned my head forward.  I could feel the seat soaking in the water from my clothes. I knew when I got up there would be a large puddle on the seat, but I didn't care. I was in his car having what had to have been one of the best days of my life. I looked at Leo and smiled, as he smiled back. Maybe, just maybe, there would be more days like these in the near future.

*FLASH*

"I win!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I turned to Leo who was just swimming up behind me. The water splashed all around going up towards the sky and shining like diamonds through the reflections of the late summer sun. He swam next to me. He growled in a sexy deep throaty way almost animal and grabbing me by the waist pulling me down with him into the dark water.

I could see the light slowly disappearing as we went down deeper and deeper. I wanted to swim up for air, but there were two things weighing me down; my heavy clothing and the fact the it was Leo next to me.

*FLASH*

"I haven't had that much fun in a long time" Leo smiled as he parked his car in front of his house, turning off the ignition. His house was almost identical to my own, except for the walk way, my house had a stone walk way which seemed to pull you in, but his house resembled more of a path seen in an Alice in Wonderland, with its differently shaped and colored rocks as it swivels towards the front door. Right off the unusual path was a large lamp straight out of Narnia. Though it may seem very strange, it reflected his mother perfectly and gave the home a magical touch.  I sat there for a moment trying to process what had just happened, if I truly had this experience and it wasn’t all a dream, it could be this place playing tricks on me.

*FLASH*

We both got out of the water dripping wet and sat on the dock. I could feel a splinter pushing at my skin, though not hard enough to pierce me. It hurt slightly but I ignored it.

"I'm soaked," I said with happiness ringing in my voice. "How am I going to go home? What will my parents think?" Looking down at my soaked pants and tee, even my socks were wet.

Leo smiled and shrugged. "I'll drive you to my house, we will put your clothes to dry and then I'll walk you home." He stood up and put out his hand. I took it and got up. Our bodies were very close; I could almost feel the evaporations from our body heat drying the water. I was strange and yet nice.

I nodded towards my bike. Words weren't necessary.

"I'll fit it in the trunk."

*FLASH*

The door shut on the driver’s seat and Leo got out of the car, slid across the hood of his rustic car, jumped onto the pavement and opened the passenger's side. I looked up at him as I got out of the car. I looked back at the seat, and blushed as he shut the door behind me. And then I walked down the rabbit hole, or well, more precisely, I walked into Narnia.

I wore a pair of Leo’s shorts and a large white t-shirt while my clothes tumbled and turned in the dryer. I crossed my arms over my chest, the room was drafty and I could feel my nipples surfacing; Leo’s wandering eyes made me extremely uncomfortable.

His room was like any other boys room, tremendously similar to Billy’s in fact with posters of various bands and video game idols, though Billy had bands that I never heard of, whereas Leo’s room had many familiar ones such as Aerosmith or Bon Jovi. There was also a wooden desk with a laptop and comic books spread alongside it. Beyond that was a large mural dedicated to his accomplishments, filled with trophies and awards he had obtained throughout the years. There was even the football ball from last year’s victory against the Waverly High Woodchucks. By his bedside, there was a nightlight of sorts, it had a very antique style to it which contradicted with the rest of the room, and a clock and the latest novel assigned by our English teacher.

“Are you warm enough?” Leo’s voice echoed in my mind, snapping me out of my trans. I nodded and watched him as he sat down beside me on the bed. “I had a really amazing time with you today.”

My breath caught in my throat. “You said that already.”

“Did I?” he said to no one in particular. I nodded my head regardless. I uncrossed my arms and turn to look at his face. He was extraordinary with his beautiful curly locks and his ocean blue eyes, and a face that seemed to be chiseled by angels. When he smiled you could see the faint sign of a dimple, when you saw it, you light up because that’s how you knew his smile was genuine.

Then he began leaning closer to me, coming so closer to my face, that his began to blur. I must have been imagining it, it might have been my face moving slowly towards his, but it wasn’t as if he was moving away. Right?

Closer.

Closer…
