Aphmau's POV

Its been a few days since the "encounter".

I was in my room, staring at myself in the mirror, trying to mimic my previous blushing behavior.

I keep replaying it again and again in my brain what happened in the cave.

The only thing is...

I didn't even know what was going on in that cave..

Who was that man in black?

Why did he save me?

I caress the red bandanna in my hands.

Zoey had already cleaned out the blood, so it was clean.

And also in condition to be returned to its rightful owner.

Will I ever see him again?

That seems to be the question of the year isn't it?

I try to figure out this strange feeling...

The feeling I had through out the encounter.

Something that I never felt with Laurence or Garroth...

It felt weird, but amazing.

I want to see this man again.....

He saved my life anyway...

I should find out a way to repay him...

I shake my head of the thoughts erupting in my head.

I have a village to lead, children to raise, and a potential war to win.

I don't have the time....

Zoey interrupts my elaborate thoughts.

"Aphmau, Katelyn and Travis have arrived from Brightport" She states, peeking her head into the open doorway.

"Give me a second Zoey, thank you" I dismiss her, then stuff the bandanna in my pocket, walking out of the room.

Whoever you are, whatever your name is...

I arrive at the docks, a smile growing on my face.

"Katelyn!" I exclaim, giving my guard and friend a bear hug.

"Aphmau, its great to see you!" She screams, a smile on her face as well.

".....Hey what about me?" Travis asks, raising his arms in a hugging motion.

"I didn't forget about you Travis" I say as I give him a hug as well.

I felt something graze my butt.

"TRAVIS!" Katelyn and I scream, our voices laced with disgust.

I release his hug and I swiftly kick his abdomen, sending him flying to the ground.

I high five Katelyn, and continue with her towards the village square.

"HEY WAIT FOR ME" A pained Travis yells, rubbing his damaged belly.

We enter my house, meeting in my dining room.

Laurence and Garroth were leaning against the wall, talking and each holding their helmets under their arms.

Nicole and Dante were sitting at my dining table, talking and devouring Zoey's pastries.

Kawaii~chan was sitting with Cadenza and Lucinda.

Vylad was leaning against the wall, his usual green hood and mask on.

Very much like the guy from the cave...

STOP IT APHMAU.....whats wrong with me?

 Kenmur and Emmalyn were bouncing their theories off each other.

Zoey was passing out glasses of her homemade cider.

I walk into everyone's view and everyone silences.

"Alright, thank you all for joining us today, despite your busy schedules" I start, everyone listening closely.

"We all aware of the high-priest, Zane Ro'meave..."

That earns some grumbling from the group...

"And also of Tu'la's warning.....thank you Vlyad...."

He just nods at me.

"Now, we have plans to try our best to come to diplomatic decision with Zane and we will find out as much as we can about Tu'la's plans"

"It will be near to impossible to come to anything close to a diplomatic decision with Zane" Garroth states, his face blank.

"I agree with Garroth" Katelyn says, solemnly.

Ever since Jeffory died, she can't seem to stand anything to do with Zane.

"Then we try our best to stay clear of crossing swords with him....." I say, knowing Garroth's relationship with Zane.

Also Vylad's.

"Tu'la appears not be a problem anymore...They barely have an army compared to ours from what I can tell....." Vylad states, his arms crossed.

We continue to discuss the issues combating Phoenix Drop.

After a while, I take a break from the meeting, going into the kitchen to find more of Zoey's cider.

She said she had ran out but I'm sure there is some hidden somewhere.

While I rummage through my cabinet, I hear the clearing of a throat.

"Where did you find that?" Vlyad questions, gesturing towards the bandanna, hanging out of my pocket.
