We walk around some more, looking at attractions, talking and laughing. I can't believe how easy it is to talk and joke with Ethan: I thought it would be awkward and uncomfortable, but it's as if we're old friends just hanging out.

We see a stand filled with Undertale merchandise. "Want to check it out?" I look up at him. He must have seen me eyeing the stand.

"Sure," I say cheerfully. We walk over, and I immediately head to the t-shirts, Ethan trotting behind me. I look around and find the one I've been looking for for ages. It has all the characters on it. I take it down. "Who's your favorite?" Ethan asks, examining the shirt over my shoulder

"Flowey. I love the way Toby Fox designed how his nature is. When soulless he's cunning and evil, but with a soul, he's full of compassion and love. Well, he's filled with love all the time, but it changes from murder to friendship," We laugh. "Isn't yours between Sans and Papyrus?'"

"Yeah, how did you know?"

"I re-watched your Undertale series last weekend. Are you going to do the Sans battle ever? You made that series so long ago."

"I was, but I feel like since it's been so long, people would just get mad at me." He says, shrugging.

"Well, I'm pretty sure people would be more happy than angry. Undertale really popular!"

"I might do it if I have time." He says dismissively, picking up a Papyrus plush and examining it. I look at the stand for any other merchandise I want, and something catches my eye. A book of puns. I pick it up. Sans is on the cover, winking. It's called 100 Plus Puns for Every-Day Use. I smile.

"Hey, I'm going to purchase my stuff."

"Okay, I'll be here." I walk up to the lady behind the stand.

"I'd like to get this shirt and book, please." She smiles and rings them up.

"That'll be thirty dollars," I swallow. I think that's what I have for the train and food. I pull out my wallet. Yep. Only thirty dollars. No more, no less. I hand over the cash to shakily, anxiety pumping through me like blood. How am I supposed to get home? She gives me my bag. I take it mindlessly. I could suck up my pride and call Drew...

"Have a good day!" I blink, her voice bringing me back to reality. I plaster on a fake smile, hiding my anxiety.

"Thanks, you too!" I go up to Ethan, trying to think. He's at the other register, purchasing the Papyrus plush and an Undertale souls cap. He puts on the hat and gives me a dorky smile. It's contagious.

"What did you buy?" He asks, looking at my bag curiously

"I got the t-shirt and a book of puns." I hand him the book. He laughs.

"Do you like puns?"

"Not to brag, but my friends used to call me the Pun Master." I joke, raising an eyebrow and putting my fists on my hips in mock pride. We laugh together at my stupid pose.

"We have thirty minutes. Want to get some food?"

"Sure, why not?" We make our way towards the food court. Some people stop us along the way, asking Ethan to sign stuff or to take a picture with him. The fans are finally seeming to find him. He would, of course, says yes. Some would just glare at me like I was some sick puppy following him around, and some would ask "Who's she?"

"Friend." He would say every time-- and every time it made butterflies fill my stomach. After ten minutes of walking, small talk, and fans coming for a signed picture or photo, we make it to the food court. We both get something to eat and sit down. Ethan paid, much to my protest, but I really only got a coffee. An awkward silence rolls over us. I try to think of something to talk about, but nothing comes to mind.
