The End of A Good Day

After looking around, we walk to the gift shop to see if they have anything we want. Immediately grab a hoodie with a cool sketch of an octopus on it. Mark and Amy got t-shirts while Tyler got a beanie.

"Ethan, what're you gonna get?" He shrugs.

"Probably a shirt." I point to one with a dolphin on the front.

"That one! Your spirit animal is totally a dolphin, they're really hyper and playful." I say, giggling. He rolls his eyes, ruffling my hair. "Hey!" He grabs the shirt and we check out. As we walk out of line, I notice that the guy standing behind us is the one I was talking to me earlier. He waves. I give him a small one back. Ethan suddenly puts his arm around me. I whisper 'jealous' to him.

"Am not!" He says indignantly. I laugh.

We pay, and we bid goodbye to our friends and walk to the car. As we get in, I pull out my phone and a tiny piece of paper falls out of my pocket. As Ethan drives, I read it:

I really want to be friends, despite what your boyfriend thinks. Text me!

I stuff the paper into my pocket again. No way am I letting him ruin my day.

"How does Chinese food sound?" Ethan asks. We're playing Gang Beasts with Mark and Jack.

(SUCH a good game, totally recommend!!)

"Amazing!" I say, taking Mark and throwing him off the edge. He shouts in indignation.

"I agree!! I'll have some dumplings and noodles and-" We all laugh.

"No one asked you, Sean!" Ethan shouts, throwing him off the edge as well.

"I'll order the food. Lo mein, dumplings, and sesame chicken sound good?"

"And some soup!" Ethan calls. I shake my head, taking out my phone. I order, and turn to play again just in time to see Ethan throw my character off the edge.

"Hey, I was AFK!" I say, putting my earpiece in again to hear a chorus of laughter.

('away from keyboard' if you don't know what afk is)

"Oopsies! Sorry, it was a total accident!" I shove him, making him fall off the couch with a small thud.

"Oopsies!!" I say.

"What just happened over there?"

"I may have accidentally knocked Ethan off the couch onto his face." They start laughing.

"That's harsh, Alex."

"Bite me." We play for another half an hour before our food arrives, and we have to leave.

We eat and laugh, talking about everything from YouTube to Anime to which one of us is better at Gang Beasts. We head to bed, snuggling with each other until Ethan falls asleep, arms still cradling my waist and head. I take a moment, before sleep overcomes me, to absorb everything that went on today. Breakfast. The Aquarium. Gang Beasts. Dinner. Snuggling.

"I love you, Ethan Nestor," I say into his chest before I finally drift into blissful sleep.

Here's to an end to the birthday section! It was pretty long, sorry about that! But then again, keep the happy up for as long as possible!

I'm probably gonna end this soon T^T but I might do a sequel. Yes, I think I might bUT DON'T HOLD ME TO THAT PLEASE I'm terrible at promises xD
