Chapter 11: Visit

"So all we have to do is finish making the chart for history right?" Your best friend asked.

"Yeah! I already have the info, all you have to do is apply it into the chart and put it into the power point." You handed a few pages with said information.

"Okay, hey what do you say about going out for dinner on Saturday? I heard they're opening this new restaurant on 34th street!" Bf/n said with excitement evident in her voice and drool was visible at the corner of her mouth. You laughed at her childish antics but then let out a sigh.

"Sorry bf/n, after work I'm a bit busy.." You looked away awkwardly.

"Aw come on! It'll be fun!" She scooted closer to you. "Is there something I don't know~ like maybe you going out with a certain guy~~" She wiggled her eyebrows as she poked your side with her elbow.

"Wh-What?? Nathan has nothing to do with it!" You turned away.

"Hehe...I never said it was him, but I already knew he was on your mind~" She kept teasing you.

"Can we talk about something else??" You asked as you felt your face slowly heat up.

"Alright alright. Oh! I've got to get going, I gotta babysit my little cousin. See you later MC!" She gathered her things, gave you a quick hug and then walked out.

You closed your laptop and put it in your bag, it was time to head home and thankfully you didn't have to work today.

As you were walking out, you remembered what Yoosung had said to you.

"I live right over there! Drop by anytime you want!"

You looked in said direction and shrugged your shoulders.

Eh, what the heck.

And with that as your final thought, you started making your way to the apartment.

You repeated in your head. Once you reached said door, you were a bit hesitant at first but finally built up the courage to knock, but then you realized something.

Wait, what if he's in classes? Or maybe out with some friends or-

"Yes-" Yoosung opened the door and just stared at you with his head set on and game controller at hand.

"H-Hey Yoosung, just thought I'd stop by and-"

"Y/n?!" He slammed the door shut and you could hear a bunch of stuff moving around on the other side until the door opened up again but this time his gaming things were gone.

"S-Sorry about shutting the door on your face, it's just that my place is kinda a mess right now..." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly while trying to avoid eye contact.

"It's no problem, my place is probably worse." You said honestly.

"Oh, right! Come in!" He opened the door for you and you said thank you as you walked inside.

It was kinda small but still nice and cozy looking apartment. Although, it was nothing like the Visual Novel version in the game with the stars and stuff.

"So...what brings you here?" He asked while heading for the kitchen to get some drinks.

"I finished a project early and since I've got nothing more to do I decided to stop by." You said as you followed behind him.
