Song in multimedia: Kodak Black-Save You
Today Sunny and I are making hair deliveries to the local orders that we received. We've been all over the 9th ward, the 17th, 8th, and 3rd ward. It's been super exhausting, but we've made a lot from doing these drop offs. Our last stop for the day is at our friends house who lives in the Fischer.
"Open the door, hoe." Sunny banged on the front door as kids ran circles around us.
"Finally y'all hoes here, had me walking round looking like a clown." She swung open the door with her hair all over her head.
"Bitch you always look like a clown. Don't play yaself, baby." Her older brother said as we walked in the house.
"Go take yo project ass outside." She rolled her eyes.
Sunny and I laughed because they're always talking about each other. We all sat down on the couch and Sunny pulled out the bundles of hair. They were protected by a black silk bag that was decorated all pretty.
"Yes, baybey. I been waiting on this." She ran her fingers through the Malaysian curls.
"Where your card at? Me and Tay gotta go home and finish packing." Sunny rushed her.
"Here. Y'all going back to Houston?" Porsha asked.
"Yep." Sunny smiled.
"What's going on down there?"
"My boyfriend is having a little dinner." I responded.
I looked over at Sunny who was biting her lip to keep from smiling. I was about to ask her why, but Porsha's brother started talking.
"Damn, you gotta boyfriend? I was tryna put you on to that shark life." He said in reference to his hood.
"Bitch, get out. She don't want you, big teed(teeth) ass hoe." She said with a clenched jaw.
"Girl, shut up. Wide body ass. Bitch shaped like a sack of potatoes. Stop playing with me, hea?"
"You ribbing? Let me know." She twisted her neck.
After joaning on each other for a good minute, her brother finally decided to go outside. I damn near peed on myself from laughing at them. Once he left, we sat and talked with Porsha for a while.
"I see the cinnamon working for you Tay. I bet them sales went up quick." Porsha smiled.
"Bitch you doing voodoo with this girl? You crazy?" Sunny gasped.
"It's hoodoo, hoe." Porsha corrected her.
"Girl, that shit really work. I put some in my pants pocket one day and now every time I wear those pants I find money, no faking." I put my hands up.
"I can't get jiggy with that shit. Remind me not to get on your bad side." Sunny shook her head.
"I don't do bad stuff with it. It takes too much negative energy to be focused on that. Educate yourself, lil baby." She snapped her finger.
Sunny shook her head and started talking about the trip. Normally she puts up a fit to visit Houston, but this time she's hella geeked. Her and Cierra keep talking about their wardrobe and what we all should wear once we go out to eat. I'm happy to go and all, but I'm not as near excited as they seem.
