"Good morning from princess Mariah and I." I sat crisscross on the floor as I recorded a Snapchat video in the mirror.
"You talking yourself again?" Ant walked into the room.
"No, I was making a video." I smiled at his presence.
"Mwwaah. Hey, big mama." Ant kissed my stomach as Mariah kicked.
"Ugh. My back hurts." I put my hand on my lower back.
"How did you even get on the floor?" Ant laughed.
"I don't know, but it took me like ten minutes. Can you help me up?" I reached my hands out.
"One. Two...Three." He struggled to get me off the floor.
"I'm so fat." I was breathing hella hard.
"You not fat. You thick and you still beautiful." He hugged me from behind.
"I am?" I pretended to be shocked.
"Yuh." He looked at me in the mirror.
"Heyyyy, sookie sookie now." I laughed as I danced on him.
"You gone be silly all your life. Doing all that moving with that big ole belly."
"It's not even at its max yet, she got a lot more growing to do. She is a big girl though."
Currently I'm six months pregnant, 25 weeks to be exact. My pregnancy is going really well and I'm actually enjoying it. Of course at times I can't breathe and I always have to pee, not to mention all the strain that's put on my back. But if you ignore all the discomfort, being pregnant is a wonderful experience. Carrying another human being is phenomenal and words can't express how blessed I am to have this opportunity.
"I hope you ready for your finals. I haven't seen you studying or nothing." He gave me that look like I better be on my shit.
"I have... I will some more when I get back home." I smirked.
"Where you going?"
"Today I'm running to the post office to drop off these orders. Then me and Cierra are getting stuff together for the baby shower." I told him.
"I'll be getting ready for Mississippi. But right now I'm headed to a meeting. I guess we'll see each other back here later."
Ant and I kissed goodbye and I carried the big bag of hair orders out to the car. As I waddled out to the car, I called Cierra to make sure she was ready. Before going to the post office I picked her up so she could carry everything for me.
"I thought you was dropping that off first?" She asked once she got in the car.
"It's too heavy for me to carry. I needed help."
"Cool. Are we picking up the invites today? My mama keep asking when she getting hers in the mail."
"Yeah, we picking them up from Hayley today. Did she get her wedding invite?"
"Yeah she got it. She was getting on my nerves the other day. I say so many times, old people do not need social media."
"Why you say that?" I slightly laughed.
