Chapter 6

Back to Liz’s POV

I woke with a start to someone shaking me awake, I was dazed for a couple minutes not really remembering where I was or how I got there, but lucky me it quickly all came crashing back, with lots of force.

I looked to see who was shaking me and realized it was bother Mike, and Felipe.

“We’re here.” Mike said.

“Um, where is ‘here’” I asked

“Hell” Jace answered from somewhere outside the van.

What?!?!

“It’s where the vamps, and werewolves, and devils, and pixies, and all the other awesome mythical creatures live, it is now where you work.”

Yeah. Right. Work, nooooo. It was then that I began wondering what I would do now that I lived in ‘hell’ fun. Not really.

Mike started laughing.

I shot him a glare. Silently fuming I asked “Where exactly are we?”

“You probably don’t want to know.” Felipe said.

Oh, great, something worse than hell, sounds like LOTS of fun, not.

“Just tell her already, her mind is about to give me a headache.” Mike said.

“We’re at an all boys boarding school.” Jace said, shooting glares towards Felipe.

Damnet, NOT fun, not pleasant, grrrr.

“You sound like a vampire in your mind.” Mike said cracking up a bit.

I better have my own dorm, or else Mike, shut the hell up.

“Nope you don’t get your own dorm.” Mike said now fully laughing.

Jace, Felipe, and now I noticed Reed too, were all staring at Mike curiously.

“So um where is everyone else?” I asked.

“They are getting situated, and some don’t go to school here.” Reed answered

It was then that I stepped out of the black van and took my first look at this new school.

I gasped. “Umm whoa.”

It was gigantic, like a mansion mixed with a castle, medieval, DEFINITELY awesome, and I noticed the sky was a deep dark maroon, kind of what it looks like before a tornado. It was pretty quiet, because it seemed the boarding school was pretty far away from the main part of um hell.

“Correct, we are at least two miles from civilization, and I know you aren’t going to run away, I mean you are in hell, and we got here by a portal.” Mike said AGAIN answering my friggin thoughts.

Well time to enter the school of hell.

And with that, I followed Jace and Reed as they headed up to the giant looming door, of this school; Felipe and Mike were each on one of my sides.

“Bodyguards,” Mike whispered in my ear.

I nodded, still slightly, still confused.

“Keep in mind you’re the only human for miles, or more, and then add that to the only girl, your body will definitely need guarding.”

Great not only am I in a guys boarding school, but I’m in an effing vampire boarding school, oh just great, yay, again not.

And we entered the doors, into my new life.
