Kidnapped

Chapter 18

Liz’s POV 

I had grabbed a bathing suit and was currently changing into it. Reed was starting to give me the creeps, Iven kept staring at my boobs, and Felipe I wanted to hug again.

I thank I was in the beginning stages of a ‘crush’ for Mike and Felipe, what would dad say if he saw me now? I almost laughed out loud, I would probably look like a crazy madwoman.

“You almost ready?” Felipe asked from the other side of the door. 

Mike hadn’t gotten me a bikini and a one piece both maroon, and then had left telling Felipe to wait with me.

I was ready, so I unlocked (precaution) the door, and took a step out. Felipe’s mouth dropped (let’s hope that’s good) literally.

“How do I look?” I asked softly feeling shy for the first time in years.

“Awesome, now let’s go before Mike has my head.” I wondered what he was talking about, but then I guess Mike might just be impatient.

“’Kay.”

I grabbed hold of Felipe’s outstretched hand, liking the feeling, and Felipe pulled me downstairs, but right before he left the room.

“Liz, you might want to put a sundress on or something, it would be a good idea, and only god knows why Mike gave you a red bathing suit.” I think that was the most I had ever heard Felipe say at one time, and I did agree a sundress would be good.

So I turned let go of Felipe’s hand (unwillingly) and opened the door grabbed a red sundress (it has to match, duh) and threw it on, then I went back to Felipe’s hand, and let him lead me outside and down the steps, and finally into the living room, where everyone stood, including Reed, and one person(?) I hadn’t met yet.

“So this is her?” Mystery person asked Reed.

“She has a mouth.” Mike said probably hearing the annoyance in my head, I sent him and appreciative glance.

Mystery person turned to me, “Are you Liz Magycan?” However he found out my last name, the world may never know.

“Yup, that’s me, why?”

“You have an invitation, to the mayor’s ball, where you must go.”

Uh okay, “Um sure?”

“Excellent.” Mystery Man thrust an envelope in my direction then disappeared out of sight.

“Okaaaaaaaaay.” I said slowly, then to change the subject “Swimming?”

Everyone nodded, but they all still clearly looked surprised, and Mike and Reed looked worried, Iven got over his shock quickly and started staring at my boobs, as did Jace, and Kurt since he was standing slightly behind me, in the corner of my eye I saw was staring at my ass. 

“Do I need to wear a barrel?” Okay so maybe saying that was a bad idea, but it was funny seeing all of them jump, and Iven and Kurt look away, but Jace just smirked.

“Do you?” 

I felt Felipe shaking with rage next to me, “fetch,” I murmured softly, not thinking he’d actually do anything, boy was I mistaken.

I watched as in slow motion Felipe launched himself at Jace, growling, and Jace clearly not prepared tried to ready himself for the oncoming fight.
