Kellin's POV

I watched as Alan tossed in his bed and sighed. I hadn't went back to sleep since I came in here and truly that's all I wanted. I couldn't get Vic off of my mind. He had left only about an hour after I had pulled him back to bed and to say I wasn't missing him would be a complete lie. It had been a short while but I was attached. I knew I shouldn't be and I knew I was only asking for trouble since I knew for a fact Vic was still with Jaime, but he was like a drug and I couldn't get enough.

I wanted him to call my own and I wanted to be there to put a smile on that gorgeous face of his, but there was one thing standing in the way. Jaime. But even then I have to think. Jaime is my friend but he is still not treating Vic right. Does this give me any right to do what I am doing though? I sighed and rolled over once again. There was about thirty minutes until my alarm went off for me to get up. I debated whether or not to just go ahead and get up but by the time I had decided to just lay in bed I heard my alarm go off from my room and just sighed before getting up to start my day.

Alan's POV

"Austin quit it!" I yelled as he trapped me in his hoodie. I had slipped it on since I was cold during lunch and the sleeves were extremely long since Austin was a giant. I was just letting them hang when Austin thought it would be funny to grab them and wrap them around me. "Please!" I yelled and looked to the rest of the people at the table when Austin just smirked.

"Hmmm you gotta give me a kiss?"
"Fine! Fine, let me go." I whined and he released the sleeves of the hoodie. On a last second decision I decided to try and run away but I was only pulled back down into Austin's lap.
"Hey where's my kiss?" He pouted and I laughed, turning slightly to peck his lips.

"I'm taking you out tonight." Austin said matter of factly.
"We have a date this Saturday." I pointed out.
"I can't wait that long. I'm moving it to tonight because I'm excited."
"That's cute." I smiled at him and he blushed a light pink color.
"Shush."
"Where will we be going?" I asked while stealing a fry off of Kellin's tray.
"Somewhere."
"Tellll me, I have to know what to wear."
"Outside of the city so you can wear whatever you want." He said and gave me a knowing smile.
"But what if -"
"No what if's. I want you to wear something cute and something that's you." He lowered his voice so only I could hear him. "If that happens to be a skirt then great of it happens to be jeans then great. I just want you to be you and be happy."

I gave him the biggest smile and turned, straddling his lap, and gave him a hug, burying my face in his neck.
"Thanks you." I couldn't believe he was actually going to take any of that into consideration. I knew he didn't mind it but I didn't expect him to try and plan so I could wear something like a dress.
"No need to thank me Doll Face." He smiled and then kissed the top of my head.

Lunch was over after a few more minutes and I had two classes until the final bell rang, they flew by quickly and now I was standing in front of my closet staring at all of the clothes. I walked through the bathroom and into Kellin's room.
"Kellin will you help me pick an outfit?" I asked and he nodded before getting up from his bed and following me back to my room.

"So what are we going for today?"
"Anything really." I said and he smiled at me.
"Really?"
"Yea. Austin's taking me out on a date out of the city."
"Did he pick somewhere there just so you could wear whatever?" I nodded my head and Kellin smiled.
"I'm liking Austin better and better." He did before turning back to the closet.

"No dresses." I said as Kellin reached in the closet. He just nodded his head and went back to shuffling through the clothes.
"Green okay?" He turned and asked.  I nodded my head.  He shuffled a few more minutes more then came back with  an outfit and a big smile on his face.
"Go go. I wanna see!"
"Why do you sound like a sister instead of a brother?" I laughed and he threw a sock at me. He turned his back to me and I looked at the clothes he had picked. I shimmied the black skater skirt up my thighs first. Then grabbed the Nirvana band tank top and slipped it over my head, then I put the dark green and black flannel over it and turned back around to Kellin.
"Okay I'm done." I said. "Do I look okay?" I said and twisted my hands around.
"Yes!" Kellin yelled causing me to laugh. "What time is Austin coming?"
"About thirty minutes."

I walked over to the mirror and stared at myself. I guess I did look kinda cute. The skirt complimented my legs and the greens and blacks in the outfit didn't clash with my hair.
"I'm nervous Kellin." I said as I took a seat on the edge of my bed.
"Why?"
"Because what if I look stupid or do something stupid? What if someone sees me?"
"Alan you look great and if anyone says one rude thing to you I'm sure Austin will take care of it. If he doesn't I'll take care of him and whoever it was." He said cracking his knuckles.

I stood up and went back over to the mirror. The more I looked at myself the more nervous I got. I noticed how pale my legs were, how skinny I was in some places, how skinny I wasn't in others. The skirt just hung off of my hips and my shoulders were little bit broader than I wanted. I could feel the small stubble left from shaving and my light freckles were placed oddly and not in a appealing way. My eyes weren't a pretty color just a muddy brown. My hair was a mess and the color was sickening at the moment as I decided it clashed with the green. Overall I looked disgusting.

"I'm changing." I said and went to the closet.  I felt a hand wrap around my wrist and pull me back.
"No Alan you're not. You look amazing!" Kellin said. "What happened? You were fine a minute ago."
I shrugged my shoulders and hugged myself.
"I don't look cute. I look repulsive. I guess skirts aren't really made for boys." I said quietly. I looked up at Kellin and he looked like he was about to kill someone.
"Listen to me Alan. You can wear whatever the hell you want." He said his voice softening as he talked. "You look amazing. Alan this is you. You're happy wearing this aren't you?" He asked and I looked back in the mirror.

Despite thinking I looked like trash the clothes really did make me happy. I nodded at Kellin.
"Yea I guess."
"Then don't let anyone try and take anything away that makes you happy."
"I know Kells you've told me that since I was little."
"Well wipe that frown off your face and go get ready for lover boy."
"He's not even here yet."
"I heard a car pul-" he was cut off by a knock on the door. "Told you. Now go have fun."

I took a deep breath and grabbed my phone before going downstairs to meet Austin.
