I stormed away from Jaime and walked outside. I knew I shouldn't have came to this party. The music was too loud and the people themselves were too loud. I didn't want to be here. I didn't enjoy parties in the slightest, but Jaime wanted me to come so I did.
I can't believe he was flirting with that girl right in front of me. He does this over and over and over. I've tried so hard. I thought I loved him at one point and now I'm not even sure. He says he loves me, but how can you love someone when you go visit your ex in your hometown every month.
I sank down and sat on the soft grass. He thought I didn't know. How could I miss it though? He always left for about a week every month, he told me he was going to his grandparents, but they lived the next town over. Not the next state. Kellin only confirmed my suspicions when he told me that he visited his home town almost every month.
I had seen the messages too. Curiosity had gotten the better of me and more than once I had looked through his messages. The contact name was literally a dot. If that wasn't suspicious I didn't know what was. The messages were constant, almost everyday, and more than once they were filled with pictures that contained way to much detail. I had seen more of a girl than I had ever wanted to.
It hurt even worse that it was a girl. I don't know why since I knew Jaime was bi but it still hurt. It all just hurt in general. Every time he was on his phone I couldn't help but think that it was her. Every time he looked down and smiled, it had to be because of her. I was merely a place holder at this point.
Another thing that made me want to curl into a ball and is that she knew. The girl he was cheating on me with knew he had a boyfriend. They had had many conversations about how I was so stupid because I hadn't realized what was happening right behind my back. Jaime told her how much better she was than me and that I meant nothing.
I meant nothing to him. Then why was he still holding on to me? Better yet, why was I still holding on to him? I didn't even know anymore. My brain was always scattered and I was paranoid about him cheating. It wasn't even a suspicion anymore. Just truth.
I stood up making my way further out into the yard. I wish I had a friend here. To be honest I wished Kellin was here. I couldn't describe the way he made me feel. I couldn't help but smile around him and he was so sweet. I hoped he came here tonight and maybe, just maybe, he wouldn't get drunk out of his mind like Jaime would. Maybe he would want to see me.
I sighed and leant against a tree with my eyes closed. I jumped when a pair of arms slid around my waist.
"Jaime don't." I said. I was still mad at him.
"Sorry to disappoint but I'm not Jaime." That angelic voice said and I turned around to see Kellin. I smiled and leant into his arms.
"I hoped I would see you here."
"Well the only reason I came was to see you darling." He said and my chest fluttered at the nickname."You don't like these things do you?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Not really."
"Where's Jaime?" He asked.
"Flirting with a slut. " he cocked and eyebrow, questioning me. I had never really told Kellin about the tension between me and Jaime he just knew it was there. "Don't worry about it." I said and gave him a small smile."I don't want you upset. You need to enjoy your night forget about your troubles." He said and brushed my hair away from my face. "Without alcohol involved." He added and I laughed.
"Don't worry I don't drink much anyway."
"You wanna go dance?" He said with a smirk and I nodded. He grabbed my hand and led me back into the house. Now I guess I should feel bad about me and Kellin constantly flirting, but I couldn't. It just felt so right and it was far less worse than what Jaime did. Kellin made me feel special and wanted. Whenever he texted a smile would instantly play at my lips and wouldn't leave. I really liked him.
He moved me to the makeshift dance floor in the living room where the lights were dark. He pulled me close and put his hands on my hips. I moved to the beat and Kellin smirked down at me. I turned around grinded on him causing his breath to hitch. He moved my hips to the music and leant down to kiss my neck. Was this wrong?
My eyes searched the crowd and I immediately decided that there was nothing in the world wrong with this as soon as I saw Jaime making out with the slut on the couch. I turned around and was leaning up to Kellin when some drunk knocked into me and spilt their drink.
I cursed and Kellin laughed.
"Lets get you cleaned up." He said and grabbed my hand again, this time leading me up the stairs. I followed as he walked into a random bedroom and pulled a shirt from a drawer. "He won't mind." He said. Then he pulled us into the bathroom. He gently grabbed the edges of my shirt and pulled it over my head. He hesitated a minute, looking me up and down, before slipping the other one over my head. I grabbed his hand and stared at his blue green eyes before pushing him against the wall and leaning up to kiss him.
The kiss was slow... at first. I gripped on to his shirt then kissed him deeply. One of his hands rested on my waist while the other was pulling my head closer to his.
The door opened and I stopped the kiss immediately, but I didn't back away. In a way I hoped it was Jaime. I was tired of it all but then again I was afraid of his reaction if it was him. "Kellin are yo-" it was Austin. He stared at us a second before finally speaking. "Umm Alan wanted to go." Kellin nodded and told him he would meet him in the car.
Once Austin left and shut the door Kellin looked back down at me and ran a hand through my hair. I smiled up at him and he bent down to kiss me once more. "I'll talk to you tomorrow okay?" He said and I nodded. He smiled before leaving the bathroom. I leaned against the counter and took in a few breaths. I couldn't believe that just happened. It finally happened. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face either.
I walked back downstairs and someone wrapped their hands around my waist. I looked back and there was a very drunk Jaime. "Hey baby." He said and kissed my neck. He pulled me over to couch and sat me on his lap, arms wrapped around me securely, as he talked to some random people. I sat there all night with him and I couldn't help but that it was Kellin's arms around me instead.
Alan's POV
I woke up and slightly freaked out when I noticed that I was moving but my feet weren't touching the ground.
"Help!" I screamed which caused me to grab my head, it was killing me.
"Hey hey. Calm down it's just me." I looked up and saw Austin's beautiful face.
"Ohh. Hi." I giggled.
"Still a little tipsy I see." He said and I shook my head.
"Nope. Nope. Nope. Not at all. I'm perfectly fine. I didn't even drink a lot." All he did was chuckle at me then pretty soon he was setting me down on my soft bed."Cuddle me." I whined and he shook his head before getting under the covers with me.
"Do you want to change before bed?" He asked and I nodded. "Give me your shirt." I said and he just stared at me a minute.
"Umm okay." He sat up in bed and tugged off his shirt. I slipped mine over my head. Normally I would have been too nervous to do this but at the moment I didn't have a care in the world. Okay, maybe I was a little drunk, I thought to myself and laughed.I pulled Austin's shirt over my head and then shimmed my past off while still under the covers. I threw them on to the floor and then scooted back down in the blankets. "My sweats wouldn't fit you because your a giant but if you do want a pair you may want to go check with Kellin." I yawned.
"No I'm good."
I nodded then cuddled up close to him. My legs and arms wrapped around him while his fingers ran through my hair.
"Good night Doll." He said.
"Night Austin." I mumbled and then everything was black.
