The guys were standing in front of their fuming girlfriends well all but one because Dawn wasn't as mad as the rest were. They were just standing there in awkward silence the boys were trying to picture together what the hell they should say. While the three girls were thinking of ways to get them to talk.
*mischievous grin*
Ash spoke up "We were umm just trying to have fun you know cuz er it's the last day of summer you know and we wanted to do one last crazy thing."
He smiled sheepishly at them mostly at Misty who shook her head at him. The guys just face-palmed that Ash literally just said that obviously, they aren't gonna believe that.
The girls all looked at each other does he really think we are gonna believe that they thought.
Ash I can read your mind all of your guy's minds remember and you guys all hoped we would believe all that and go have a fun shopping day said Leaf smiling victoriously.
The guy's jaws just dropped in disbelief because that hadn't crossed their minds Leaf totally just nailed them good. She is the smart one after all thought Gary smirking to himself.
Gary that's not nice but thanks anyways said Leaf smiling but crosses her arms shaking her head after. Leafy you know it's true he simply responded. She just rolled her eyes at her bf.
What did he think Leaf? asked May pondering what could the playboy be thinking she thought.
Nothing Leaf said smiling putting her hands behind her back and swinging in place letting her hair move along too.
Okay then said May who turned around to look at Dawn with a confused what-the-hell look. Dawn simply shrugged her shoulders in response I don't know she whispered to her brunette friend.
Paul, you should just explain for once and for all so go on said Dawn moving her hand telling him to talk.
Yeah, continue said May who was still struggling out of Dawn's icy grasp on her hands.
July he hasn't even started talking yet what do you mean continue said Drew smirking at her. Don't get me started I'm already angry she said fumbling around you know what I MEAN. He smirked at her
She ignored that smirk in her face by Drew and said, "By the way, if I wanted to I could break out of this grasp but for your sake and mine I won't cause Misty probably will try to soak me like a wet candle stick that can't be lit she said.
True that May and Ash I know you too well I know you're hiding something Misty said crossing her arms. I just wanna know what's going on she then said.
I agree with Misty said Leaf motioning to the redhead who gave her a sympathetic smile I feel like it's something really important it's this weird feeling. I haven't really been predicting things as I used to before she said looking down not wanting to give eye contact with anyone.
Leafy it will be ok said Gary trying to comfort her only to be pushed away.
Don't Leafy me I wanna know what's going on first and I feel like I need to know. Fine the guys all shoved Paul forward who glared at them but then proceeded to finally explain.
Well, he started out I have been getting this feeling a bad one in my gut that but then got cut off by Ash.
You were probably just hungry that's what I felt like when I told Misty how I felt about her.
He received a glare from everyone including Misty, but she let out a small giggle. She facepalmed at her raven-haired boyfriend Oh my Arceus she said shaking her head smiling. Go on she motioned for Paul to keep talking.
Anyways as I was saying said Paul before I was interrupted by this doofus so I have this bad feeling ever since those bastards broke into your house he said as he pointed to Leaf.
After we threw those pricks out and went to the store the next day I wasn't feeling this normal happy energy. I would always feel that around you guys instead, I felt this horrible feeling that something bad will happen to you guys he pointed at all the girls.
They were all confused but listened as he explained everything else and they nodded to his every word. So why didn't you tell us none of you told us said Dawn eyeing all of them.
Well, I wouldn't know how to explain it thoroughly and we all agreed that it's best that you guys didn't know said, Paul.
Basically, you guys were trying to protect us said May trying to piece together what was just said to her.
Precisely airhead I'm glad you finally understood something said Drew flipping his bangs back.
Shut up grass head I understand things perfectly fine not like you and Spanish class last year she responded with a smirk.
The guys just snickered behind Drew well Ash and Gary did Paul just let out a small chuckle. Drew turned around to glare at them they immediately stopped.

We promised to protect you guys at all costs said Gary who decided to speak up as he was in deep thought.
Why are you guys doing this do you think we can't protect ourselves retorted Leaf crossing her arms.
Of course, we know you guys are capable of protecting yourselves but we felt better knowing you are with us. We can help at least prevent something bad happening to you guys, because I don't know about the other guys but I love you Leafy said Gary smiling at her no Gary's perverted smirk it was a smile.
Awwww Garbear I love you too and I guess thanks for worrying about me and the others. No problem he said hugging her around the waist and kissing her forehead.

"Really Drew you would protect me said May looking up at him. "Of course, I would May I told you before at the grocery store and I'll tell you again".
"I will fight till the death for you because your my airhead and no one will separate us" he intertwined their fingers together bringing her closer to him. "Drew of course not we will be together forever she giggled because I will do the same thing for you if needed" May responded with a big grin and pecked his lips. She let go but he went in for more and pulled her back to him.

My ice cube said Dawn hugging him but stayed quiet. He noticed and said Dawn what's wrong with concern in his voice. It's that remember when I had that terrible feeling in the attic that wasn't me being paranoid was it she said.
He stayed quiet but responded with yes that's when I realized that I felt it stronger and that wasn't any of your guy's emotions I would normally feel this was an evil presence. Hopefully, we do that hunt soon with the ghost box. I agree she said smiling into their hug closer. I love you they said at the same time which surprised them they giggled and kissed.
