Mays Pov

My names May Maple and I'm 15 years old. I was getting ready to head over to my best friend Leafs house when I got a message from an annoying grasshead aka Drew Hayden. He annoys the hell out of me but there's something about him that just tugs at my heart wanting him more. WAIT what am I saying I can't be feeling this way at least in front of my best friends. They always tease me and if they knew I like him they would never stop bugging me. Ugh why is life so hard then all of a sudden I felt the need to throw a fireball from all this stress coming over me."Calm down May " I said to myself. Also I have magic abilities mine are made out of fire aka the undistinguished flame. I had these powers since I was little and was able to control them thanks to my dad Norman. Us girls and the boys as in Drew's friends my besties crushes  have been friends since we were born always been close. I know this by the way they act towards them and the boys aren't good at hiding it either. Sometimes I think it was faith for all 8 all us to have powers and are best friends well the boys are with each other as the girls are with each other as well we are one big group of crazy teens with powers.  Also think  us girls and boys are meant to be together in couples call me crazy but that's how I think it will end. So anyways this was our little text convo.

To May: hey June wyd
To Drew:hey don't call me tht grasshead 😡and I'm gettin ready to go to Leafs with the girls wbu
To May: oh air head you kw u love my attention anyways I'm going over to Gary's to hang the night with the rest of the guys maybe I'll see u as much as i wanna c u ;)

To Drew:whatever grasshead anyways maybe just maybe

Once we finished texting I couldn't help but smile that he wanted to actually see me the arrogant jerk maybe doesn't just think about himself after all. After I was done making sure I had everything. Dawn texted saying she was outside.  So Leaf's powers are Psychic meaning : telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation,able to read minds,etc. She does get carried away with reading minds hopefully she doesn't want to read my mind when I'm thinking about a certain grasshead. Sigh anyways Misty's is water(AN:Are you surprised or what lol)being able to make tsunamis, able to control waves, shoot water from the palm of her hands etc. She loves her powers maybe a little too much but what can you expect from her she's obsessed with water its her thing.

Last but not least a certain bluenette aka Dawn I'm closest to her just cause we knew each other before the rest of us girls met. She knows me so well that sometimes it surprises me the same with me knowing her. Anyways her magic ability is ice she can freeze anything she touches if she intends to freeze it she can control in but in her anger not so much. Last time she got so mad at Paul that she froze him before he could even blink so I had to help defrost him before he got hypothermia. Dawn felt bad about freezing him that she would do anything to make it up to him. She was basically his slave until he didn't want her to be near him any longer so he told her it was fine and he forgave her so he can be back to being alone just like he likes it. He did like her presence though he didn't show it he kept to himself like always. Also we can all talk to each other telepathically which is good.

About the sleepover we will spent the whole week at Leaf's since its the last week of summer before school starts and because her house is closest to the school did I mention we are gonna sleep in dorms its the first year of us having dorms hopefully it goes well.

"MAY",screamed Dawn in confusion to why May was lost in her world again.

"What! Dawn are we there yet"? I replied still trying to catch my breath from the scare.

The blunette sighed and said,"May were you even listening to me? Why were you so quiet? Yes we are here were you thinking about someone a certain guy with green hair and grass powers. She smirked evilly to the brunette which caused her to blush badly.

"No I was thinking about us and going to school next week that's all no palm tree with grass powers anywhere insight," May said pretending to look around in the car. Dawn responded with a simple eye roll and "Okay May if you say so".

Once they got out of the car they knocked on the door to reveal the door was open already. To their surprise they saw 2 boys looking evilly at them. "Who are you and what are you doing here"May said. Dawn was too busy trying to see if she can communicate with Leaf and Misty and try to track them down. The 2 men looked at one another before saying,"Oh you see little missy we have came to take you to our boss". May and Dawn couldn't recognize the men because they were in all black and had masks on.

Before the girls could say anything back two people behind them said,"NOT on my watch you will not take May". The other said " Over my dead body you will take Dawn", he said with his teeth clenched together hard. The two girls knew exactly who those voices were from and turned around with their mouths shocked to see how protective these boys were.
