Killua x Reader

Chapter 5

A/N~ I'm really sorry... I didn't update cuz I don't rlly have internet where I am right now. But now, I'll try my best to continue for about 2 weeks cuz that's how much time I have off from school *sigh*. So, without further ado, let's begin shall we?...

~ (Y/N)'s POV: (20 min later)

I slowly opened my eyes, only to see I was in Killua's lap. My face immediately heated. I turned around to look at his face but he wasn't even paying attention. His attention was out the window. At least that's what I thought.
"Do I have something on my face?" He suddenly asked, which caused me to get nervous.
"N-no... I just uhh..."
He looked me in the eyes.
"Why do you do this to me (y/n)?"
"Do what?"
He re-directed his attention back to the window.
"Nothing..."
I sat up and leaned against the window of the train.
"I didn't say you had to get up." He stated a bit sternly. I looked him in the eye and asked,
"Did I do something Killua? If I did, why don't you tell me what I did so I could correct i-"
"You won't understand." He exclaimed.
The sudden shout made me a bit frightened.
"I..I'm sorry." He apologized while avoiding my gaze.
It grew quiet for a bit. But, to show it was ok I answered,
"Well... I really won't unless you speak to me Killua. Your my best friend. If I can't solve it then I could at least help."
He sighed a really long sigh, looked at me, then added,
"I... like this girl...a lot..."
At that point my heart broke. He already liked a girl? A lot? Why... didn't he tell me?
"She's really beautiful," he continued, "I've liked her longer than she knows. She doesn't seem like she feels the same way so I'm kinda pissed off about it. It makes me depressed to see her sad, and it lifts my spirits so high when she's happy. I'd do anything for her. I have no clue as to how to confess to her. She's... hard to read."
I held all my emotions in before answering. He never ever mentioned a girl to me like that before. I took a breath before replying,
"Well... I may not know this girl but I bet she's the luckiest girl to have you like her." I smiled a 'plastic' friendly smile, "All I can say is tell her how you feel, and whatever happens after, happens." It hurt me to say this last line, "I'll hope she likes you back."
He smiled.
"I'll hope so too."
"York New Station coming up. I repeat, York New Station coming up." Called the train driver.
"We better wake the others huh?" He asked.
"Yeah... I guess."
'This is gonna be the worst vacation' I thought before waking the others, gathering our baggage, then leaving the train.

After we exited the train, thanks to Leorio, as usual, we found a nice hotel to stay at for the 2 week trip. To be honest, I was a bit nervous thinking about wearing my (favorite/color) bikini. But then I remembered that he already liked someone.
When we got to the hotel we immediately picked roommates. There were 3 rooms at our room. Obviously I had one to myself while Killua shared a room with Gon and Kurapika with Leorio.
I picked a room first then immediately changed out of my heavy outfit into a lighter one. When I left the room, the other guys were already seated waiting for us to go to the park already.
"A-already?" I asked. "I thought we were going as soon as we got here (y/n)?" Gon replied. "Alright, give me a sec to to get ready." I dashed as quickly as possible to my room to change.

~ Time Skip: (at the park)
Everyone left for the rides except me. I wanted a little air before going in. Apparently, Killua was there too... making it much more awkward.
"Are you... avoiding me by any chance?" Killua suddenly asked.
"I... don't think so.... why?" He rubbed the back of his neck and laughed lightly. "I just thought you weren't talking to me." His comment made me smirk and ask, "Were you worried?" I could see a slight pink in his face when he answered, "Y-yeah, I guess." It grew silent for a bit, but he broke it after asking, "Can I... tell you something, (y/n)?" I laughed. "Have I ever stopped you from telling me anything Killua?" "Well, I-" "HEY (y/n), Killua! Come with us to the next ride." Gon interrupted. I smiled and messed with his hair. "Of course I will." He grinned his signature grin and ran off. I quickly undressed to my swimsuit in the nearest bathroom. When I exited, Killua was standing at the entrance to the bathroom waiting for me. "Were you waiting long?" I asked a bit worried. He didn't answer. He just stood there with his mouth opened a bit with a face as red as a tomato. "W-what?" I asked slightly nervous. He shook his head quickly. "N-nothing." Was the last thing he said before dropping his hands into his pockets then briskly walking off towards the others. I sighed, shook my head, and followed suit. "Why is he so difficult to understand?"
