Extra (Part 1 of 2)

Killua and I were getting ready to have the twins' uncles come over to look after them tomorrow. Leorio had gotten us a 2 day 1 night pass to a pretty high rated hotel for our 5th anniversary so we could take our minds completely off of our twins for a few days. I just loved my babies too much and so did their father so we didn't want to take the trip at first, but we realized we needed a little time to ourselves. Besides, they were already 4 and their uncles Gon, Kurapika and Leorio are just the best babysitters. So we didn't have to worry.

Killua and I were lying side by side in our bedroom on our bed looking at the two sleeping four year olds, Kirstal and Kai, sprawled out between us. I looked upon them both as they slept and took in all their features. They both were the replicas of their father in face and hair color, but they took my eyes. Kai was more like his father though when it came down to his personality. He was just as difficult as his father. Kirstal was more like me. I looked up at Killua and saw his eyes closed as well. He was resting on his fist as he slept looking as handsome as ever... So I looked for a while.

"You've been doing that since back at YorkNew." He suddenly opened his eyes and looked at me which, of course, startled me.

"Killua!" I gasped, "You were awake?"

"How could I fall asleep as soon as the children fall asleep?" He smiled with his intentions clear.

"Tonight!?"

He looked at me then laughed.

"I just want my wife to myself tonight."

I looked at him in the corner of my eyes and laughed in return.

"Alright let's go put the kids to bed."

Killua and I got a twin and set them down in their respective beds in their room, tucked them in and kissed both their foreheads like we do every night, then returned to our room.

Killua got to bed first then I followed suit. As soon as I was settled in, Killua sat up against the bed's headboard, grabbed my arm and gently pulled me over to his side on his lap and put my arms around his neck.

"Goodnight kiss."

I smiled and looked at him in disbelief but kissed him anyway. It was short and so lovingly sweet.

"Alright love bug let's go to bed." I whispered against his mouth as I dragged my hand from around his neck to rest on his chest.

"I guess you'll need the energy tomorrow so I'll let you sleep." He chuckled against my lips. I hit him lightly on his chest in embarrassment and lifted myself from his lap and resettled in my side. We both said our goodnights and soon enough sleep took us both.

~The Next Day~

We put everything for the children in places that their uncles would find them, replaced the house in order for them and packed our things. By the time Killua and I were finished, their uncles arrived at the door.

"Where are my favorite niece and nephew??" Gon grinned and stepped in and then Leorio followed. Kurapika just shook his head and smiled at the two, gave me a greeting and stepped in also.

It wasn't the first time the uncles came over at all so we didn't have to tell them anything.

Killua and I immediately got our belongings.

"Have fun (y/n), Killua!" Gon smiled brightly.

"Don't waste my anniversary gift." Leorio smiled.

"Don't worry about your children. We'll handle it." Kurapika reassured us.

We already knew our twins were in the greatest hands so we gave our goodbyes and thanks then left for our little 2 day 1 night getaway.
