Killua x Reader

Chapter 7

~You may have to refresh your memory a bit so let me bring the last paragraph from last time.

"Why do you know my name?!" I shouted, "Who are you!?"
He licked his lips in a seductive way.
"You'll find out soon enough."
He got up and dusted his bottom off. Before leaving he said,
"At the abandoned playground. Alone. If you don't know where it is, check in with that white haired assassin of yours."
Then he disappeared like the wind.
"Who in the world was that?" I silently said before marking the area and headed home.

I ran all the way home to find Killua to ask him about the weird guy who talked to me earlier today.
When I got home, he was in his room alone. At least that's what Gon said. I slowly pushed the slightly opened door open and saw the white haired assassin sitting at the edge of his bed facing the window. For a moment there I totally forgot about what I went to him for.
"Hey, you ok?" I asked him.
He swiftly flicked his head to my direction with a startled expression.
"O-oh it's you." he sighed.
"Yeah. Were you expecting someone else?"
"No, not really."
I smiled and walked on over to him.
"Hey I wanted to apologize."
"For what?" He lifted one eyebrow.
I twiddled with my fingers for a bit before answering,
"For not listening to you talk about the girl you like. I'm sorry for not giving you the support that a best friend should give."
He laughed. Finally he laughed. It warmed my heart to the core to finally see him laugh after so long. Oh, if only he knew how I felt about him. The way he makes me get goosebumps all over by just a brush of his hands on mine. The way his height, broad shoulders, eyes, hair and smooth voice give me a tingling sensation in my stomach. When had I started thinking like that about my best friend?
He suddenly held my tiny hands in his larger ones. When did this happen?
"I'm not exactly sure why you didn't listen to what I had to say, but, I've known your for 12 - 13 years (y/n). You probably had a good reason to."
His comment made me smile so hard. I was terribly happy that he understood me. As usual. I embraced him tightly in my arms never wanting to let him go. Afraid that he might slip into someone else's arms. I should take him to the place I fou- Then I remembered the whole reason I came. I let him go and looked him dead in the eyes.
"Killua, there's another reason I came in here."
He looked at me with concern.
"And what is that?"
I pictured the funny looking guy and shuddered while asking,
"Do you know a guy that looks like a gay version of the joker with a water droplet tattoo underneath his eye. Wears pink an-"
"Hisoka!" He suddenly stated a little loudly.
"Hi-hisoka?" I cocked my head to the side.
"Yeah," he answered, "Don't ever have anything to do with him you hear me!? He's dangerous! Even for you!" He shot me a deadly stare while pointing to me.
"Oh, ok. But umm..." I twiddled once again, "I'm trying to get to somewhere tomorrow. Could you help me find the place?"
"Sure, why not? Name it." He stood up and stuffed his hands into his pockets. Looking all fine and- 'FOCUS!'
I shook my head of my thoughts and continued.
"It's a place called the abandoned playground."
"Why would you wanna go there?"
"No reason." I shrugged.
"Alright." He smiled, "But be careful. There could be people looking for a pretty girl like you." He smirked.
"Killua," my jaw dropped, "when did this side of you surface?"
He smiled his usual smile.
"Hmm I don't know actually."
We laughed together then went outside to the others.
Everyone were sitting together watching a movie called 'Boss Baby'. Killua and I ended up joining them soon after. (I don't wanna be a spoiler so I'm not gonna explain anything).
Thinking about this Hisoka's appointment got me up all night. And early that morning, before anyone got up, I shook Killua until he was half asleep to ask him about directions. I got em', thankfully, without his knowledge, then, I gathered everything I might be needing then headed to the old playground. Alone.
