Doctors baffled by the rise in threetwins
By Cynthia Callhorm 5th December 2039

At Memorial hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, over the month of November there were three births of what is being referred to as the "threetwins"
"Threetwins" is a term being used to describe the birth of two babies, one child born with no defects, the other being born with, what was considered, a rare condition called dicephalus parapagus dipus, where a child is born with two heads and one body.
The numbers of these births have been increasing over the years, however, Merthyr Tydfil is the first town to have two born in the same month.
Scientist have already started to speculate as to why this is occurring on a regular basis. The latest theory suggested by Warwick University, who have hypothesized that the cause may be due to new pesticides being used on the publics vegetables.
Eight years ago, I reported one of the first occurrences of "threetwins", at Lincoln General Hospital, at the time Doctor Turner, who has since retired stated "This is a very unusual circumstance, one that is not likely to occur again within our lifetime". This, unfortunately, has turned out to be completely wrong.
