Doctors surprised by the birth of unusual twins
By Cynthia Callhorm 15th March 2031Joshua and Mary Tyle were born at Lincoln General Hospital at 5am, on the 14th March. Mr and Mrs Tyle had expected twins. However, they were surprised when, after Joshua was born as an beautiful young baby boy, that his sister would be born as polycephaly.
Mary Tyle was born with a rare condition of dicephalus parapagus dipus, where a child is born with two heads and one body.
The doctors are baffled as to how this condition did not show up on the baby scan, which was performed eleven weeks into the pregnancy.
Doctor Turner said: "This is a very unusual circumstance, one that is not likely to occur again within our lifetime"
