I had been rudely called back into work an hour after my normal shift. I had been pulled away from my overly dramatic show about highschoolers and tacos for a crime scene. Something about bullets and shooters but, Joe filled me in a little more on the way over to Stagg. Apparently a group of armed men had ordered for everyone to hand over expensive jewelry, money and watches. Though I kept wondering if that was the place Iris had mentioned before.

We walked in and Eddie appeared beside me in an instant. Going over everything he had learned, I quietly thanked my family for their fast talking. Why? Because he spoke like one of the auction house guys. In other words impossibly fast.  I spotted Barry and Iris just as he finished.

They were dressed up a little. Iris in that pretty white dress and Barry in a suit. "Iris." Eddie said in a somewhat love sick tone. This guy was losing his macho, handsome, detective status. Joe looked at them sternly. Even I felt like a little kid getting scolded and I hardly knew the man.

"Where were you?" He asked with anger and concern swirling in his words. "Found him outside, he said he fainted." Iris explained. "Do I need to get you a paramedic?"  Eddie asked with slight worry.

"I'm medically trained, if he needs help." I offered. I knew their were people here who actually had paramedic as their job but, I just liked to point out that I'm awesome.

"No, I'm fine. Thanks though guys." Barry said as we all overheard a witness. He had thought he was a deadman but, some how he appeared outside unharmed. Joe had moved Barry aside to talk, and I stayed with Eddie and Iris.

"Iris, did you happen to see anything?" Eddie asked as I turned to her, to listen to her intensively. "Not much but, there was about six gunman. That security guy was right in the line of fire but, next thing we all know he's gone and the bullets fall short or hit the walls." She said with a tiny frown.

"It was all so scary. I'd never witnessed a robbery, let alone one at gun point before today." She explained.

"Barry had disappeared too and I was so confused. Turned out he ran after the men to catch their license plate. He had fainted before he had gotten the plate number though." She explained her story further.

"Where are the bullets that were shot at the guard? Maybe I could match them to the guns stolen this morning." I explained as they both pointed me towards the bullets.

I walked past Joe and Barry on my way. I caught a bit of their conversation as I walked too. "And Iris is not stupid, start making better excuses then I fainted." Joe said before returning to Eddie's side.

Why would Barry need better excuses, let alone any excuses. Something is going on here and I know it. Your one weird guy Barry Allen.

I looked over my shoulder to look for Barry but, he had just up and disappeared from my sight. I shook it off and continued my walk.

A bunch of badges or blues, whatever you like to call them were already inspecting them. Or trying to at least, to me they were mucking up my evidence and only lead.

"Hey don't touch my evidence!" I glared as one picked up a bullet from the floor. Without gloves too, what audacity. What nerve. "This is a closed off area little girl. Cops only." One said as I gave them an oh no you didn't glare.

"Just my luck. Oh wait I'm the forensic scientist for the CCPD. So step aside old man." I glared giving the man the same respect he dished out for me.

If they ain't polite neither am I.

I pulled out my CCPD card because he still didn't seem to buy it. I flashed a sickly sweet smile. "Would you look at that she's got proof too." I spoke in third person.
