Miraculous Ladybug - The Unfortunate

A Deal

Vixen threw his body against the closet door. It wouldn't budge.

"Come on, come on! Please just open!" He pleaded. "She- She's going to get herself killed."

Vixen pounded on the door, before kicking it in frustration.

"Vixen!?" A muffled voice called.

Vixen perked up, banging on the door. "I'm in here!"

The door swung open, causing him to fall flat on his face. A hand grabbed him and quickly pulled him up.

"Ladybug!" Vixen exclaimed. "Thank goodness! We-"
"We have to go. Now." Ladybug said very seriously,
pulling Vixen out the door.

"But-"

"There is nothing to question, except your lack of judgment!" Ladybug growled. "How could you let her go alone!? Why would you even let her go at all!?"

"I tried to stop her!" Vixen protested. "She got the jump on me! She's usually not this... this rash!"

"You have to expect the unexpected, especially in this line of work." Ladybug sighed. "Do you want to save her?"

"Yes I do!" Vixen exclaimed. "I want to save her!"

"Good, now be quiet." Ladybug crept up to a building, and peered around the corner.

"How did you even know that she came here?" Vixen quietly asked.

Ladybug blinked. "You haven't seen it?"

"Seen what?"

Ladybug quickly pulled out her yoyo, sliding the communicator open. Miss Fortune's face appeared on the screen. She had a huge smile on her face and her eyes glittered red.

"Come on out foxtrot!" She teased. "All you have to do is hand over your miraculous, and I'll only hurt her a little bit."

The camera move over to show Natalie tied up next to her.

"I know that you're out there fox boy." Miss Found laughed, grabbing the camera. "So come rescue your little birdie, before there's nothing left but a couple feathers!"

The video cut off, then began to repeat. Vixen took a step back. He felt sick.

"H-how.. how long has that been playing?" Vixen asked shakily.

"About fifteen minutes." Ladybug replied quietly.

"What!?" Vixen exclaimed.

Ladybug grabbed him. "Shhhhh!"

"S-sorry! Sorry. I-I just-"

"I know, you care about her. I have people that I care about too." Ladybug sighed. "I'm sorry I yelled. I was just thinking about what I would do if the ones I loved were in her place."

Vixen turned and peered around the corner. "It's ok. Let's just... Let's just rescue her."

Ladybug nodded. "What do you see?"

Vixen focused back in on the situation. Miss Fortune was standing with her arms crossed, a smirk on her face, on a roof. Cat Blanc prowled around in front of her, his outfit glistening red.

Vixen quickly searched for Natalie. His breath evened as he spotted her tied up next to Miss Fortune. She didn't appear to be hurt.

"I see both Fortune and Blanc, and I also have eyes on Natalie. She's seems to be unharmed, but Cat Blanc has... blood..."

"What!?" Ladybug exclaimed softly.

"They seem to both be looking at something-"

Vixen froze. Cat Noir shuffled into view, his costume torn and covered in blood.

"Cat Noir." Vixen gasped.

Ladybug gripped his shoulder.

"Is- Is that all you got!?" Cat Noir called, falling to one knee.

Miss Fortune smiled widely. "Oh my sweet kitty, I have so much more." She turned. "Sadly, you won't live long enough to see it."

Cat Blanc ran straight for him, claws aimed at his throat.

"NO!!!!" Ladybug shrieked, running out while starting to spin her yoyo.

"Ladybug!" Vixen yelled as he ran after her.
Ladybug wrapped her yoyo around Cat Blanc's hands and flung him straight at a building.

"Leave him alone!" She said fiercely, spinning her yoyo.

"M-My lady." Cat Noir smiled weakly.

Vixen ran up beside her pulling out his flute.
Miss Fortune laughed. "Well, well, well. Look what the cat, or should I say ladybug dragged in. I'm glad that you decided to stop by, because I've prepared something extra special for you. Cat Blanc!"

Cat Blanc stalked up behind her, claws out. He lifted his hand up to slash Natalie.

"STOP!" Vixen cried.

"Make me." Miss Fortune smiled. "You know what I want."

Vixen looked down, clutching his miraculous. He quickly glanced up at Natalie.

"Alright." Vixen said staring straight at Miss Fortune. "You have a deal."
