This chapter takes place the night before the winter's ball. It's the cliffhanger I forgot about. Lol.

Forgiveness? Can you imagine?

Hercules almost puked. In came John with shades on and a giant vacuum looking thing in his hand. Alex also walked in with the machine and the sunglasses. Then, there was Peggy.

"John! Alex?" Hercules asked, confused. Peggy jumped in front of them,"And-" Alex shoved her out of the way. "We detected a strong ghost aura from this house!" Alex did a Jersey impression. "Yeah, we gots the ghosts in the bags!" John also mocked a Jersian.

Hercules banged his head against the table. Marquis just looked around, confused. "There are no ghosts here!" Thomas appeared out of nowhere. "Move out of the way, Zuul!" John pushed Thomas out of the way. He gripped his vacuum. "I'm so confused," James stated.

"James, the sick princess! We will save you from these ghosts!" Peggy dramatically promised. Marquis laughed. "Who're you?" Peggy asked. "Je suis Marie Jospeh Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier de Lafayette, Marquis de Lafayette!" He smiled. Peggy threw a book that was lying around at his face.

"We know you murdered Yuugi Moto!" She screamed at him. "Yuugi? English word?" Marquis asked. "It's from a card game anime," Hercules reassured, forgetting that Marquis didn't understand him. Marquis shrugged, giving up on what an anime was.

"Marie, we know who you are!" Peggy screamed. "D'accord," Marquis was done with her stupid English that he couldn't understand. "You're actually a girl!" She screamed. Marquis looked around. "Je suis fille? Non. Tu sont bête!" He was really offended by that for some reason. Hercules put a hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay, Marquis?" Hercules asked, concerned. "Oui, je suis bien!" He didn't look so sure.

"Anyways, We think Daveed Diggs' ghost might be here!" Alex said, trying to sound tough, as he put his glasses down a bit so he can see his eyes. "Omg," Hercules cried. "Just get out!" Thomas complained. "We have a strong sense coming from you, Thomas!" John waved a fan at him.

Thomas looked around,"What, What?" He said blankly. "I know, Thomas! It must be tough, but embrace your inner gayness and it will possess somebody else! Daveed only possesses the gayest of bodies!" Peggy said, looking at a Fisherprice phone. She pressed all the buttons that made animal sounds.

"Interesting," she muttered at it. "Okay, folks what's going on. Oh, gosh." Thomas' mother stood there in the door entrance. "Mother, I'm being possessed by a freaky ghost that only possesses the gayest of the gay!" Thomas squealed. Alex giggled a little. John frowned at him,"This is no laughing matter. If we don't stop Daveed, Thomas will end up shooting up into the sky as a rainbow and be cursed as one forever!" John said, quickly.

"Wait, What?!" Thomas hollered, confused. "You only have so long to live, Thomas!" Peggy reassured him. "So, we're not going to do anything and let nature take its course!" Alex smiled. The three walked out of the house.

The remaining 5 in the house, looked at each other in silence. All of them confused. "That was so freaking weird," Thomas broke the silence. "Agreed," Hercules stated.

Sunday is when Hercules and James would go over to Marquis' house. Obviously, Marquis would sneak over to school to get the homework, then sneak back. So, that's how the 3 spent their late afternoons.

This is their first week. Surprisingly, it's much more chaotic at the Lafayette's house than the Jefferson's. "Bonjour, Herc!" Marquis hugged Hercules tightly. He then looked at James and hugged him in a bro kind of way.

He smiled at both of them. "Bonjour," they both replied back. "Anybody here speak English?" James whispered to Hercules. He nodded. "His mother," he responded.

"Welcome, boys!" Marquis' mother walked in. James shook her hand,"Thank you so much for letting us stay here for the week!" "Oh, of course! So, you're James. I know Hercules!" She smiled at his brother.

Hercules nodded. She shook his hand as well. "I am making the lunch, so what lunch you want?" She asked. "It doesn't matter, miss. We'll eat anything at this point," Hercules said. She laughed,"Okay, hons. Stay away from windows, okay?" The group nodded.

"We're kind of low on space," she reminded them. "One if you can sleep in Marquis' room With him, or in the guest room!" She smiled.

The group walked off, to the two rooms. "You can sleep with Marquis', Herc. He's your boyfriend, so...I'll sleep in the guest room!" James said, heading off into the guest room with that kind of grin.

Hercules shrugged, and followed Marquis into his room. He had been in it before. "I am happy!" Marquis said, impersonating an American. "Me,too!" Hercules grinned, receiving a kiss on the cheek.
