NOT BASED ON REAL EVENTS
"And why are you coming to the meeting?" Alex asked, frowning in disapproval. "People need me to balance things out!" You say, pressing your hand against your chest. Alex laughed nervously and rested his elbow on the carriage window and his forehead in his hand. "I'm just kidding! I'm not that full of myself." You said, smiling. "What's wrong?" You said impatiently. "Well, Thomas isn't the.. nicest person. You're a firecracker so you'll jump in and yell at him." He said rushing to get that last part out. You shrugged and said "if I really need to, I will."

At the meeting.

"You ready?" You asked Alex. He bounced his shoulders up and down a couple of times. "Kinda." He said in reply. You scoffed and grabbed his hand and dragged him into the room. You saw Thomas and George Washington stand out from the rest. You drop Alex's hand and curtsy. "It is a pleasure to meet both of you!" You said, looking at them with wide eyes. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, but I must ask. Who are you?" Thomas asked. "Uh," you looked at Alex. "I'm Alex's sister / brother, (y/n)" Alex looked uncomfortable. "Well Alex, you had a beautiful/handsome sister/ brother and you didn't tell me!" He said, looking at Alex with a calm face. " i knew it." Alex mumbled quietly. Thomas clearly meant it, and you were grateful for the compliment but you wouldn't have it. "Excuse me?! I'm right here!" You said, fuming. "Well of course, I'm just telling him because he has a horrible taste in everything." He said, leaning back in his chair. Alex was the one angry now. You giggle and stop when you see Alex. "Sit next to me." Alex said through gritted teeth. You both sat down next to each other, across the table from Thomas. "Okay, Mr. Jefferson. You have the floor." Washington said. "Ok. All I'm gonna is that He's jealous because we have more money, aaaaaand, we fought for financial freedom. Not only that, for us to be free. So y'all should calm down with the banks." He leaned back in the chair. He had guts, and he did have a point. You smiled and him and he smiled back. Washington sorted through papers while Alex cussed and dropped his jaw when he saw you smile at TJ. "What are you doing?!" He whispered furiously. "Being nice, plus he does have a point. That suit is SOOO 1788." You said, mocking your stupid neighbor, she's a tailor's daughter AND you said it loud enough for Thomas to hear. Alex rubbed his forehead and said "can I go now?" "Yes, you may go, son- I mean Mr. Hamilton." Alex breathed a deep breath. "Well, you see..." while Alex animatedly spoke about problems, you made faces and mocked Alex for Thomas to see. He laughed, covering it with a cough. You made bunny ears behind Alex while Washington looked at his papers for about 10 seconds. Thomas kept laughing and covering it. "Are you okay Mr. Jefferson? Are you sick?" Washington asked with a fuming Alex stomping his foot underneath the table. "Oh no, I'm fine. Just have a case of cutieitis." He said, looking at you. You blushed, looking down at your dress/ outfit you wanna wear. Alex looked even more mad now. "I-uh- think we're done here." Washington said. You rushed out, not wanting to hear what Alexander had to say. You heard Thomas come out of the door. Not only that, but Alex's stomps. You hid behind an open doorway's wall. "Is she/ he here? Ok. YOU LISTEN HERE THOMAS! IF YOU LAY A HAND-" Alex was cut off by Thomas. "You're short." You heard Alex gasp, "YOU MEANIE! LAY OFF MY SISTER/ BROTHER! OK?" He said, continuing on. You bit your lip, partly to not laugh and to not cry. He shouldn't make your decisions.  You wouldn't date Thomas. He was nice and funny. He was a little bit cute.  Maybe a little more. Ok, he was really cute. But before you could think, you stepped out from the doorway. They both looked like they were caught stealing. "Alex, stop cornering him and say sorry." Alex stepped away and mumbled "orry." "What was that? I couldn't hear you!" You asked him. "SORRY. GOSH, IM FEELING SO ATTACKED RIGHT NOW." You tried not to laugh, but Thomas didn't try. Alex kept fanning his eyes and ran out of the building. " I hope to see you at dinner sometime." Thomas said, recovering from that whole situation. "Count on it. But right now, I have to deal with the drama queen of the year. Bye!" He smiled and waved. When you were out of the building, Alex crossed his arms and stomped to the carriage. "I'll make your favorite dinner if you won't be mad at me anymore." Alex looked at you. "Ok, fine." You smiled and looked out the window. Today was a beautiful day.
