It was a nice summer day. You and your best friend, Hamilton are cloud gazing. "Look, that one looks like a plane!" You exclaim. Alex is being oddly quiet. "Alexander? Are you ok?" You worry.
"I haven't told you this but, I'm going to be moving... to California." This news hit you hard, leaving you dumbstruck. "Why?" You blurt out. "Well.. there's a better job for me there, and I'll miss you! lots!" He says, sitting up. You sit up with him. "When?" You say, not facing him. "Next week." You could tell this was painful for him as well. You hugged him, and sat there with only the soughing of the trees. An idea sparked in your mind. "I'M COMING WITH" You jump up. "And you can't stop me." You say as you point to him. "That's not a good idea, (Y/N)!" He exclaims, standing up with you. "Oh really? You dealin' drugs?" You say, with your hands on your hips. "N-no! I'm just going to be gone a lot! And you'll have to find a new job!" He puts his hands on his face. "I hate my job, plus.. I can take care of myself!" You say to him. "I guess.. I just really care about you, (Y/N)." He says, turning away. "I care about you too, but I'm already ordering plane tickets." You say, pulling out your phone. He chuckles. "We better get packing." He says with a tired smile. "Ok, bye!" You say swiftly. You then kiss his cheek. There's a moment of silence, then you scurry back to your car. Time to get packing
